Re: MLB 09: The Show - Impressions
Seems Rookie of the Year is still exclusively hitter's territory. I did a little experiment to make absolutely sure. I took a AAA SP with no ML experience, maxed out all his stats and placed him on the big league roster with Cleveland. He went 20-7 with a 2.49 ERA (1st in the league), struck out 244 (1st in the league) and walked 49 (fewest in the league amount qualifying starters). AL Rookie of the Year went to Texas's Taylor Teagarden, who hit .268 with 19HR, 57RBI and 49 runs scored. I hope they fix this next year.A screaming comes across the sky...Comment

Re: MLB 09: The Show - Impressions
Wow they did a lot of work with batting rituals for the stars. A lot more than last year. I love it. Great job with sig SCEA. This game truly amazes me! I love the jumbo trons and the mascots are great! WOW. This game is SOO much better than 08.
Oh one more thing great job on the angles of the out field.Last edited by Scottdau; 03-05-2009, 07:21 PM.Comment

Re: MLB 09: The Show - Impressions
Is anyone else loving the batting practice? I never really thought twice about it when it was announced as a feature, but what a nice little touch it turned out to be. It's almost relaxing to take BP in an empty park with the music playing. Not to mention all the help it's going to do for my game. Now, more than everComment

Re: MLB 09: The Show - Impressions
Well to be honest, ever since news started to be released about this game, you have been relatively negative, so it could be that since certain things you did not want were in the game you would look as the game as a lesser version.Comment

Re: MLB 09: The Show - Impressions
I'm slowly becoming more patient at the plate. I was striking out 12-15 times a game but now I'm down to 5-8. This game is so much more realistic than last year and I did not even think that was possible. My Dodgers suck. If I could only become more patient with Manny. I K with him almost every at bat. As someone stated early. Every picth counts on this game. By the way I play on AllStar no slider adjustments. GOTY imo. Peace!!!The poster formerly know as "FLIGHTWHITE"Comment

Re: MLB 09: The Show - Impressions
Waiting for rosters I want to use so I'm messing around with sliders and playing a Yanks at CUBS game to pass time. Entering it into Blog.
Nothing formal as I'm just doing this to pass time and see some results...Joshua:
