Soft crash bug (that means it's pretty darn important):

Playing against the CPU with runners on 2nd and 3rd, I clicked R3 to look at the defensive alignment. However, at the same time the CPU decided to intentionally walk me. The screen panned out to show the catcher with his arm outstretched, but the pitcher would never throw the ball. Additionally I couldn't pause the game, so no hope of switching sides to throw the pitch for the CPU. I tried clicking R3 and waiting a few seconds several times (to turn off the defensive view even though I couldn't see it). Nothing worked - had to quit out to the XMB and restart.

I know it's the R3 that caused the screwup, and as soon as I saw the camera pan out I knew I was in trouble. Shame too, because I lost a good game because of that. Oh well, lesson learned - don't look at the defense until you're sure the CPU isn't going to walk you.

I hope this can't happen online...(of course, the other user could probably throw the pitch anyway, I think it's just the CPU that couldn't)

a batter comes up for his first at bat, gets a hit where he has to slide into the base and then the replay comes up and the batter has dirt on his jersey already.......before he even hits the ball! LOL

I hit a single to center field and the 1st baseman runs to just behind the pitching mound and the second baseman covers first.

I pass first base but see there is no chance for the double so I go back to first base. but the guy covering 1st is standing behind the bag so when I run back I run to him and not the bag and then just stand there while the original 1st baseman tags me out.

That sucked. It was in RTTS mode

Yeah the replays are kinda messed up. For example if you hit a home run, the jumbotron/scoreboard will show the next batter up. The one after the guy who just hit a homerun. Or if they replay the home run later in the game, the scoreboard/jumbotron will show everything up to that point in the game. Not back to when the homerun was actually hit.

playing game last night and it goes to a clip of dugout and you see the manager just walk right through a post like a ghost but it's a real good game

This may have been reported before:

AT&T Park Bug:

Balls that hit the Top Front bricks of the right field wall where the ledge sticks out are being called home runs.

Unless the rule changed this year, it should only be called a home run if it hits the top of the ledge, where the green grate is, not the bricks.

Yeah, I put it up on the first page. It happened twice in one game for me. Very bizarre, and I hope it's at least fixed for next year.

As the Mariners...

I started with Johjima as the DH and Clement as the C. I realized that this was silly as Johjima is a much better defender so I switched their positions in the middle of the game. The next time Clement came up to bat he had Johjima's face and jersey. He was also wearing a baseball cap instead of a batting helmet.

Well, if I understand the rules, Clement shouldn't have been able to hit at all. If your DH has to take the field on defense, you should lose the DH? Someone back me up on that one.

You're right, Johima can catch and hit, but the team would lose the DH and the pitcher would hit.

Franchise Mode Free Agents

Am I missing a setting or is it a glitch? I am half way through the season and the CPU in the Franchise Mode has not signed one free agent. So great names are on there and it really takes away from the reality of franchise mode. thanks.

Ok so ive looked threw and didn't find anything on my glitch but it maybe there and if it is im sorry. But in RTTS when i get on 1st base not every time but a good bit my runners hands are detatched from his body and kinda floating around. Then some times they look backwards. Not a big deal but does get annoying sometimes.

Anyone else had this problem

Anyone having freezing issues? My copy of The Show works fine on my PS3, but my dad just got a new PS3 and The Show. We have had three freezes in five games. We even tried exchanging his copy of The Show for a new one and got another freeze. You guys think it could be an issue with his PS3?
