Hey guys, I posted this in a thread but I'm thinking I was supposed to put it here since no one is responding to it. Here's what I wrote:
"Usually, in my franchise, I change the positions of players (usually to their secondary positions) if that particular player's overall rating is higher than the player already in that position I'm fiddling around with. I did this frequently in last year's version.
Now, the problem. I will use the example of changing relief pitchers to closers and vice versa. On the Rays, for example, I changed Joe Nelson to the closer position and Troy Percival to a reliever position (Nelson had a higher overall rating). However, the Rays are still using Troy as their closer, even though he's not their closer anymore. The funny thing is that this worked perfectly fine in last year's version, but not in '09 for whatever reason.
Any ideas/suggestions? I hate seeing a team have a closer that really isn't very good, especially when they have other, better relief pitchers."
Here's hoping someone responds to me lol. <!-- / message -->
