Also, just a couple of minor 'fielder route' issues (AUTO fielding). I don't generally mind these things to much, because they probably average out in the long run, but here they are:

It kind of runs 'jerky' on the replay, but 'live' on that second one the fielder kind of looked like he ran into an invisible wall or something.

Maybe in just lost it?? If it happens rarely i treat stuff like this as just one of those days....:wink:

Oh yeah, as I said, these kinds of things don't bother me too much as long as they are not happening all the time. Those are the only two I can recall in about 35 games played.

I just ran into this glitch today so I made a video of it. I hit the ball to the wall in center/right field at Fenway and the ai was unable to field the ball.

<hr style="color: rgb(57, 57, 57);" size="1"> <!-- / icon and title --> <!-- message --> SCEA it's bad enough that the cpu is practically impossible to beat or hold a lead against in this game but its makes it that much harder when there is a glitch that keeps them safe when out!!

what i mean is, when im pitching and throw a pitch in the dirt...their runner on first will have a lead obviously...yet when my catcher throws a pick off to first after picking the ball from the dirt...they are ALWAYS SAFE, though i always catch them 15 feet from the bag and tag them 5 feet from the bag!!!!

if the cpu is gonna be this tough in a game, you have to eliminate horrible glitches that allow for them to be safe when clearly have been picked off!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

the biggest and really my only issue with this game
please please please patch this issue

I don't know if these have been posted yet but here goes:

1. Certain coaches seem 'unfireable'. You can fire them then pull up the staff screen again and they're back, just a FA version of themselves. This makes it impossible to hire a replacement and you're stuck with the same problem coaches for your whole franchise.

2. I've had players in the majors before Sep. 1st that I haven't been able to put on my playoff roster. These players had plenty of playing time too.

Did a search, and nothing returned, so I don't know if anyone else has noticed this or not.

Anyway, in my Indians franchise, I'm in a series with the Mariners, at Safeco Field (don't know if this makes a difference, since this is the first time I've seen it), and Griffey is fielding right-handed! As in, glove on the left hand, throws with his right hand.

Now, I'm not a Mariners fan, but I'm pretty sure Jr. fields left-handed, no?

Anyway, I'm sure I can just go in and edit it myself, but I wondered if it had happened to anyone else, or if anyone else had noticed it or anything. Surely there's got to be some M's fans out there doing a Mariners 'chise, no?

Is anyone else experiencing a problem with the game crashing and going back to the PS3 menu while looking at an online league schedule?

It has happened 4 times now, and it only seems to happen in the schedule menu. It is pretty annoying since the league just started and I can't see who I am supposed to play (plus it is annoying having to wait for the game to slowly load again)

played an online game tonight for our OS online league game was great all around connection was good game was excellent right down to the wire, the best online experience to date. Game ends and I look at the schedule game doesn't even register as being played, on my player card it doesn't even show up, on member_6590's card it shows up with a line score but the bottom half show Baltimore and i was boston and my linescore is blank all these sportsconnect errors are ruining online games

but hey was still an epic and unbelievable game

Are you saying there are NO day games at Wrigley, or just fewer than there should be?

I ask because I'm playing against The Cubs right now and the second game of the series was a 1:05PM start. The game went really long (14 innings) so I forgot to check ahead and see when the next game starts.

Progressive Field in Cleveland has a big clock above left field. Same minor issue as last year; the time never changes. Stuck on 1:42. Was hoping this was corrected, oh well.(I only see it when a foulball is hit that direction anyway....)

Playing with a fantasy drafted team, I am hitting with Chipper on 1st and Mike Cameron on 3rd. AJ Pierzynski is Catching. I send Chipper on the pitch and on the throw I send Cameron home. Throw is high to 2nd, meaning the throw is late to home - both runners safe.

Not sure on the rule, but I think Mike Cameron should be credited with a steal here. He wasn't.

The presentation didn't acknowledge the run. The commentators didn't mention it, but they did show the usual type of stolen base replay focusing on Chipper stealing second. It also showed in the end of game highlights as Chipper stealing second.

Not sure on my baseball tactics, so I'm not sure if it could also be considered a bad AI decision. Maybe AJ should have not made the throw to 2nd.

to the fired coaches thing it is not just you i hired lloyd mcclendon as my pitching coach by mistake and now i cant rid myself of him. i even tried hiring him as firstbase coach but now he just takes up two coaching spots with no attribte improvements or a contract.

Sorry for not reading all these pages, but do you guys have to reset the game when you try and use the record feature??

I have tried twice now in the middle of a game to record a home run and I couldn't get back to the game.

In year 4 of RTTS, announcer is saying wrong names of batters as they come to the plate. I have a feeling it's new guys.

major glitch ive noticed..computer comes back way too much, its ridiculous sometimes..

passed ball, ctacher zig zags before picking it up..

line drive to the of ball goes right past the outfielder on a simple straight forward line drive, cost me the game more than 5 times..
