RTTS 2009: ***Click to enlarge image*** (If needed)

I'd like to introduce the newest member of the Chicago Cubs organization... they picked me up through the draft option.

    Go get 'em WILD THING!

Rick Vaughn was 5'10" and around 190. He also switched to relief.

Quick question, if u play a position are u able to play the field the whole time or only when the ball is hit to u?

I am so immersed in RTTS is is ridiculous. I started one up with a 3B. I got drafted by the Reds. Started out as the starting 3B for the Mud Cats but I was horrible. At the All-Star break, I got traded to the Astros (without asking). I finished the first season with the Stro's with a .249 avg, 6 homers, 12 RBI. I asked to become a free agent but the only team willing to give me a shot was the Astros. I signed at 1 year deal for 33,000 and they purchased my contract from the Hooks and went to ST. I tore it up in ST batting over .350 with a couple homers and all of a sudden, I get a new contract worth the league minimum (339,000). I am the utility man for the Stro's right out of ST in my second year. I have been spot starting and pinch hitting. I have been on a tear and currently batting .300 with 2 homers, 15 RBI with just over 100 at bats. My biggest moment so far was a pinch hit walk off homer (my first major league homer) in the bottom of the 9th against the Cubbies. Here is that video.

Here is my first professional homer during my first year ST with the Mud Cats.

Well. I had been cruising as a SP. 10-1 in AA, 1-1 with a 1.23 ERA and a 0.99 WHIP in AAA. The Knights were kind enough to welcome me to AAA ball. I just got rocked! Here is a picture of my last game. Didn't even make it 5 innings. It sucked but it was fun all the same. They just kept hitting the ball where my fielders wern't.

My RF's part of the way through spring training with the Cardinals. So far, I'm a beast of a singles hitter but not much else. Batting .311 with 14 singles and no extra base hits as of yet. Toss in a few SB's, about twice as many CS's, 2 rbi's and zero runs and that's who am I. Turns out there aren't many opportunities to drive in a run or score a run when you're batting in the 8 hole in front of the pitcher.
