I started out on All-Star but I could not hit anything so I movedit down to Veteran and am getting some agerage numbers. Right now after 100 at bats in my rookie season at the MLB level (utility man) I am batting .300 with around 15 RBI's, 6 Steals, 2 Homers and a .369 OBP.

I started my RF on Veteran, will move it up to All-Star if it starts getting too easy. When I start a pitcher, it will be on All-Star (For me, the pitching's a little easier than hitting).

Ok I just finished reading your responses and thank you very much for clarifying it for me. However, it has left me puzzled, in this years RTTS The coach tells me when I can train?

Loving this mode even more than last year. Playing as a 20 year old 2B prospect for the Padres. Here are a couple of my favorite moments so far.

              My first Double Play:

              My first Home Run:

and my first hit for the AA Missions, just under the reach of the diving thirdbaseman:

I'm playing on HOF but I may need to drop it down to All Star. I'm only hitting about .230 with my guy in AA.

Man I hate my squad. I'm playing for the missions and the bullpen is screwing my wins big time. I pitched a 5-2 game into the 7th. The manager put the reliever in the 8th and this dude gave up a ton of runs , we won but I didn't get the win. My pitching is getting better but at different times during the game I was seemingly losing control and location would be wild. Don't know what I gotta do to put that in check.

OK, someone try to replicate this. I dare you. I swear, I am not making this up, nor did I cheat in any way. As I said earlier in the thread, I was waffling between the draft and just going to who I REALLY want to play for, the Indians. Well, I decided to go with the draft. My inclination is always toward pitching, so I made a SP and was drafted by, you guessed it, the Indians. Not so big a deal. Here's where it gets improbable. I also made a 3B, in case I wanted to have a career with a hitter as well and was drafted by, you guessed it, the Indians. The odds of that happening are mind boggling.

I'm a Cardinals fan, and my first two RTTS guys were drafted by the Cardinals. I've made a few guys since then (I'm a perfectionist ) and none of them have been drafted by the Cardinals. Heh.

Don't feel bad. On All-Star about 150 AB's in to my season, I am hitting .244

man i'm playing on ROOKIE and struggling...

this isn't like the PS2 version a few years back...I put it on rookie and my guy had 20 homeruns and was batting .600 in the first month of AA...

this is most def not the same game....
