Playing against the Cubs at Wrigley last night in my Cards season, they cut to Rex Hudler singing the full version of Take Me Out to the Ballgame (including the "let's root, root, root for the Cubbies...") following the 7th inning stretch. They even had a cut scene of my players down on the field looking up at the press box while he was singing. I don't remember if that was included in past years or not but thought it was really cool.

Yeah, but it was a night game, so the experience was probably ruined, right?Playing against the Cubs at Wrigley last night in my Cards season, they cut to Rex Hudler singing the full version of Take Me Out to the Ballgame (including the "let's root, root, root for the Cubbies...") following the 7th inning stretch. Cutscene:
My player Hafner struck out for the third time. In the dugout, he's sitting there dejected, head down, then a teammate sat next to him, patted him on the shoulder, said something to him, and Hafner started laughing. This was during a Spring Training game, so I could only imagine he probably told Pronk "not to worry, this game means nothing"......it was just cool!Comment

Re: ***Official "It's The Little Things..." Thread***
Just played this game last night and I have to say that the one of the coolest thing so far other than the graphics is the crowd. I was the Cubs playing the Nationals in an Exhibition and the first batter was Alfonso Soriano. As soon as he came to the plate the crowd chanted "Overated!" So I proceeded to get a base hit and that shut them up. lol
I thought that was cool since Soriano left the Nationals to play with us. Has anyone else heard other chants that players get in rival stadiums?Comment

They just showed a clip of Manny in High School on the MLB Network doing the extended pose and helmet fix after hitting a homerun. Can't wait to see it in the Show.Comment

Re: ***Official "It's The Little Things..." Thread***
So I made a diving catch in the game I'm currently playing, and the D'backs' manager Bob Melvin came out to argue to the second base umpire that it was a trap and not a catch. I have a screenshot of it that I want to upload after this game.
Anyway, I went to replay to record a video as well, and what I noticed was there were two different sounds... I did trap it! A great one that I hope hasn't been mentioned already.
I was the nationals playing the Braves, with Glavine on the mound. In, I believe, the second inning. Matt and Rex mentioned how Hudler never hit Glavine very well back in his own playing days. Just then they cut to Glavine on the mound with a stat bar on the bottom: Rex vs. Glavine (career).

Also, when some young Nat came up against him (I think it was Milledge), one of them mentioned that Glavine was twice his age. lolComment

Re: ***Official "It's The Little Things..." Thread***
I noticed a little nice touch on a foul ball earlier. Batting from the left side in my RTTS, I pulled a pitch that had the distance but was well foul and my player, after his swing, was kneeling and watching the ball all the way until it disappeared and then hung his head down. LOL.Comment

Re: ***Official "It's The Little Things..." Thread***
Hopefully not board clutter but was playing vs the Reds and caught Brandon Phillips looking @strike three (low).
He goes walking off to the dugout and after he passes the on-deck batter he turns back towards home and holds his bat like a golf club...taks a "chip", then continues walking away......Comment
