Re: ***Official "It's The Little Things..." Thread***
Saw this one yesterday. Honestly, don't remember who I was pitching with, or who I was pitching to (was a random exhibition game), but the 2nd pitch I threw was a high inside fastball, almost a little too much inside. The batter had to back away a bit, needless to say, next pitch he hit a grounder as I threw him out at first. Well then it shows a cutscene of the batter walking awfully close to the pitching mound as him and the pitcher started jarring back and forth with another as Rex said something along the lines of "And I'm sure he's having some select words with him about that pitch that was inside" as the batter finally walked back to the dugout.
I thought it was awesome, haha. I love this game.Comment

After a fly ball (I like using a homerun!) go back and run the replay. When running the replay have the cursor zero in on the ball. It's easiest to do while the ball is in flight between the pitcher and hitter. Follow the ball on the replay in slow motion. Once the ball is elevated let it stop and use your right stick to rotate the camera. You get an AWESOME panoramic view of the stadium and any of the surroundings. If you go back to follow the ball it will only follow it until it reaches the edge of the outfield wall for some reason. But it is still pretty cool!Hustle Beats Talent When Talent Doesn't Hustle

Playing as my Reds against the Rays and Burrell comes up to the plate and Vasgerian says how the Reds were pursuing Burrell in the offseason and now let's see what might have been. AwesomeComment

I was playing at AT&T Park and hit a deep drive to the warning track in RF. Rex Hudler than said, "Unless you where number 25 on your back, you're gonna have a hard time reaching the bay here."
hmmmmm I wonder who he's talking about :wink:Comment

Re: ***Official "It's The Little Things..." Thread***
I beat the Pirates in 14 innings with a walk off from Scott Hairston. The very next game i went into the 10th and Matty V said "Uhh, and here we go again, hopefully it won't go as long as last nights game". Then Hairston hit another walk off and during the next game his first AB Matty mentioned something about him being the hero the past 2 nights.Comment

Re: ***Official "It's The Little Things..." Thread***
I really like the inclusion of some of the coaching aspects in this one.
So far in my RTTS, I have seen the pitching coach come up several times whenever the pitcher gave up a home run (while I'm on defense). Another time, I think it was Jed Lowrie, I got a base hit to left center and Lowrie got thrown out going from first to third and Terry Francona was steaming in the dugout.

I was drafted by the Mariners (UGH) in RTTS. During spring training, I started a game and was struggling. After a few runs scored in the 1st, the team gathered on the mound to talk things out. Johjima started talking to "me" and everybody else and Matt Vasgersian said something like:
"This should be interesting, Johjima rallying the troops but I'm sure none of them undertand a word he's saying."Comment

Re: ***Official "It's The Little Things..." Thread***
Another one I forgot to add, in my same RTTS with the Mariners, I had a runner on 1B and the batter singled to RF. The runner on 1st tried to go to 3rd as Ichiro charged and fired a perfect strike on the fly to the 3B for the out. As the play developed, it reminded me of that play Ichiro made his rookie year in Oakland when he threw out Terrance Long.
All of a sudden, they show a replay of the play and Dave Campbell says something like "What a play by Ichiro, eerily similar to a play he made in Oakland his rookie year."
AMAZING!!Comment

Re: ***Official "It's The Little Things..." Thread***
I have 2 little things I saw in the game I am playing right now.
They had a cut scene and show the NL West standings which I thought was neat.
Then in the cutscenes they show when you put the controller down for a little bit. It was zoomed in on Matt Kemp who was talking with Andre Ethier. Then you see Manny run up behind Kemp and get on all fours. And then Andre pushes Matt who falls over Manny. It was hilarious.Comment
