In Rtts my player is on a bench player scrub. Anyway I got called in as a pitch hitter and I guess my guy was surprised by that because he forgot his bat! The manager looked at him like aren't you forgetting something? I noticed that as i improved my ratings it happens on fewer occasions. Nice little thing.

This game has absolutely blown me away. The graphics are unreal! I just had to say the water moving at PNC is just great.

I can't remember what the situation was but after a play was over, during the replay, Dave Campbell said something along the lines of... "That's the kind of play you would read about online in the little things thread."

I gotta mention this one...you ain't gonna believe it fellaz...Ok, i'm pitching w/ Cueto of the Reds & I'm pitchin' lights out...we're talkin' 7 Shutout,HITLESS innings. Matt Vasgersian(sp) is mentioning it's a little too early to be talkin' no hitter. lol aiight, here it is...Cueto comes out in the 8th, walks the 1st batter...gets REALLY frustrated, takes his hat off, wipes his forehead, walks behind the mound, & starts going thru his pitching motion, before he goes back to the hill. lol...LOVE IT

The next batter i can tell his MECHANICS are NOT the same as when he started. i guess what tryin' to say is you can TELL when your pitcher's gettin' tired because of his mechanics are wack...i mean i KNEW when Cueto ran out of gas, because i could see it in his mechanics. awesome!

So I turned off the HR celebration, and hit a solo shot with Sizemore. Watched the ball go over the wall.
Then, on the replay, they show a tv-style view of Grady at the plate. I never really noticed this before, but here's a "little thing":

The crowd all stood in unison upon contact!!!! (Playing a home game)
Just like I'd see in real life! Thought it was awesome.

*Off topic:Ian, the Madden team could implement this in football when a long pass is thrown!*

I have noticed that as well... it looks very good (and realistic.) Great touch. I also noticed that you can still see the celebration in the basepad window, when you have the celebrations off.

thats just for dontrelle, but i know that some players wear their bills flat, are there any flat bills in the game?

I'm playing as the Indians in Oakland, Ryan Garko comes to the plate, and Vasgersian says, "And Garko went to school not far away from here at Stanford." Sweet.

That and the crowd noise. You know when you hit a ball solidly because the crowd has that "special" cheer that you would hear at the ballpark.

Although he says it WAY too often, I did think it was cool how Campbell points out during your season that you're getting close to Interleague Play and you'll have to play without your DH for a while.
