I'm sure this has been mentioned, but to me, the bats breaking and flying all the way to the infield is awesome.

this one has probly been mentioned to but the pitchers grip their pitches the correct way. I was particulary impressed with the knuckle curve grip.

my RTTS LF got promoted to the MLB from AAA and in my 3rd AB MV mentioned that there is almost a 20 year age difference between the batter and the pitcher

totally blown away by this tiny piece of trivia lol

still love the cancelled cooking show in extra innings as well

I'm playing with the Marlins in Dolphin Stadium against the Rays, Pat Burrell comes up to bat and they mention that he we went to the "U" and I was just floored. that my friends is realism.

yep, had that last year with the Phillies playing at the Marlins

This year, when I played the Rays at Citizens Bank Park, Pat The Bat got a standing O.

Guess what... He really did when they came to town a couple of weeks ago in one of the last pre-season games.

                That is real cool.

I wonder if it is like that with other teams like Phillies and Mets. Havent noticed.

I just started a Tigers franchise, my first game in I lay down a bunt with Granderson to try to get on base, Doc Halladay scoops it up, Curtis jumps out of the way to evade the tag but Halladay throws it to first for the out. I'm sure that's probably been done before but I was glad that it's in this game, I can't stand when players run/clip through each other for the automatic out.

Also later on in the game I struck Rolen out looking on a change-up low and away, then a cutscene played with him walking back to the dugout shaking his head, the bat kinda slipped out of his hands, he stops and looks at his bat on the ground and then turns away in disgust.

I remember when it was a 2-1 count the announcer made a mistake and said that it was a 3-1 count but corrected himself.

"It is now 3-1 -my mistake it's 2 balls and 1 strike now".

I saw virtual spit today. A cutscene showed the pitcher walk off the mound and spit. I couldn't believe my eyes.

Also just saw the ump give Posada a minute to shake things off after getting a ball fouled off of him as he caught it.

These are things I will probably never see again, but I am loving it!

I've never seen this before, and my jaw dropped when I did...

I hit a solo shot. During the replay, Dave Campbell says,"If you've ever wondered what it feels like to hit a HR, you're gonna see it here through the batter's eyes" and the replay went to that "coach's view" where you don't see the batter. Sure enough, my "eyes" were fixed on the ball sailing over the left field wall! Also, I was able to look at the fielder's reactions. Absolutely incredible!

I was playing with my rangers against the royals on my season. I happened to go to that game last Fri. I looked at the crowd on the first base side and there I was with the correct clothes. SIMPLY AMAZING

This was one I saw for the 1st time....

It was a close play at 1st and instead of the usual replay...one of the announcers actually commented while the replay was going on. Then, after watching how close the play at 1st was, the announcer said something like "nice job by the guys in the truck for showing us that replay." It was awesome.

I think they should add that in for next year...have the announcers narrate the replay while the game is showing them.

                            Nit

Not really that big of a deal, but last night I scaled the wall with Ankiel to bring back a homer and Matty V went beserk. Then he commented during the replay about how this was definitely a catch of the year candidate.

I've had him say that twice now. The first time, Ryan Braun made a hell of a diving catch to end the ballgame.

                                I just saw this one.
So i was taking a long time to pitch cuz i was busy so it went into its time out mode

the batter starts talkin to the ump and catcher about his bat, then he gives the bat to the ump. The umpire does his best Big Popi impression complete with flicking the bat on the ground the batter then gives him a pissed off look like "arent u gonna pick that up". Then he picks it up himelf and starts to dust it off. haha

I should start takin more timeouts when pitching haha
