Oh by the way, hanley is such a freakin beast!!!!!!!!
Oh I love matching up the players of the Golden Era and the Silver Era versus the current all stars, isn't that everyone's baseball dream? watching Cy Young pitch to Arod, or Nolan Ryan versus Pujols, I love it!! I'm gonna have a 7 game series with each team. Yea unfortunately I got swept by the marlins in my first series with the Nats, and I got to see Dolphins Stadium in all it's glory, it's a very underrated stadium, and it's beautiful in the game, my highlight of the series was a bomb by Elijah Dukes over the Teal Monster!!! Unfortunately I got to see Hanley Ramirez destroy my team, he hit .600 against me!! and knocked me out of the 3rd game with an upperdeck shot way over the Teal monster. I'm giving him a new name Hanley Ramirez aka "Tropic Thunder" Any way the Phish swept me out of Miami, on to Atlanta

Well said, The graphics are bright, vibrant, and realistic. Definitely worthy of a 9.

Yea they did have that last year, but I agree it is a nice, subtle detail.

It's pretty hard this year, when you hit a home run you feel accomplished this year. The best way to hit one is to just try to make solid contact with the ball, don't think about going yard, just think about getting good wood on the ball, and if you get the count to 3-0 or 3-1 and you have a power hitter up, It's not a bad idea to use the power swing to generate more power if your comfortable using it.

Sadly, I don't think so. I have been waiting for this to be included in the PSP version of the game. In Season mode, there is a menu option for CPU Roster Control but it is grayed out. Does anyone know if there is a way around this?

Just curious what level everyone is playing on. I have been playing on All-Star. Last year, they said that was the level the game was tuned for. I haven't played much, but my hitting seems good. My pitchers are getting rocked but I think I will stay with it for now. Play a mini season of 14 or 29 games and see how my stats are.

Been playing on Hall of Fame for now. AS I found too simple last year, so I had to play on HoF with sliders.

This year I am trying HoF default haven't had the need for sliders so far.

Yea last year I was a slider monster, This year I haven't touched them, it plays amazingly well out of the box, I may tinker later on with some things, and try nemesis sliders if he makes any key adjustments though.

Interesting to hear people are playing on AllStar and HOF. Last year I couldn't even play on HOF it was so easy. I'm not usually that good at baseball games either. CPU batting seemed good on AllStar and HOF, but human controlled hitting was outrageously over the top. I played with the Giants (the worst batting team in baseball) and I still got 20 hits a game with all the hitting aides turned off. I just assumed that you had to play on Legend mode this year to get realistic hitting stats.

For those of you playing on Allstar and HOF, are you noticing that batting is giving you realistic stats? How many hits a game are you getting? If you are getting normal stats, what were you're batting stats last year on similar levels with the 08 game?

Thanks for the info. I'm still waiting for my copy to arrive. It's agonizing.

I am playing on Legend and finding it hard so far. Which I like, since last year I found HOF way to easy.

Oh and I lowered the Global Slider for "Fielder Speed" and "Fielder Reaction" time to 0 (all the way to the left) and it seems to have made a small difference for the better.

Before the CPU would jog and catch up to hard line drives I was hitting to the warning track. Now it looks like if you hit it well enough you can just get it over their head.

Nemesis quick question. The Global fielding speed and reaction times are tied into both User and CPU? Meaning my guys might be a little slower as well?

Here's a question I haven't seen anyone bring up. How are minor leaguers handled in the Show? I know that any minor leaguer that has had an at bat in the Major League can have their name/likeness in the game otherwise they can't be in the game. MLB 2k series includes many of the organizations other minor leaguers under fake names with the same initials. A minor leaguer named Bill Thomas might be named Bob Terry (BT) but otherwise the height, weight, age, handedness, and ratings all reflect the real minor leaguer.

What does the show do with top minor prospects on each team that haven't seen the majors yet? Are they included at all under fake names? Or is the minor league system (ie the inactive roster on the PSP) just full of entirely fake players (in addition to minor league guys who've been to the majors before).

Thanks for any info on this.

Anyone having problems adding batter walk up music? When I edit player I can pick the song clip I want to use then when I back out there is a different clip assigned not the one I picked. What causes this problem?

Try this,To get the game to see the music on your memory stick it must be in the Format F:/Music. Both ways the psp will detect the music in the xml music but only F:/Music will work for the game.

Tried doing that still having the issue. I see the music fine, but when I select the clip and go back out its a different song not the one I selected. This is driving me crazy.
