You owe an apology, but I don't expect one. Nice kneejerk though. PM me if you wish, if you don't you just made a fool of yourself.
In all respect Jim. Why do you have to continue with the "no comeback code"?? What are you trying to possibly get out of that in this thread??

I can't prove or disprove that it's there. Nobody can. What I can do is help SOME people like Brunnoce so far that was having trouble with the game. That's what I can do and that's what this thread has done.

Alright...so I have a chance to check this for myself now. What's the rules...lol. I mean, I've read other threads where people are convinced the game is stuck on LEGEND, some where it says the options don't register if you change them in-game, etc.

So, do you turn comeback "on" from the jump and hop into a game, or turn it on once you start? I want to run it the exact same way, just in case.

Tell me about it man I live in Port Charlotte teaching PE to elementary kids ( cant beat it besides the humidity) and lived in Fort Myers 4 years ago after growing up in New York theres no other option but Florida. Dave, I read your post about now being able to K the CPU and it really makes me want to just start fresh with no sliders just turning the comeback on.

Yeah man I wish I was back. I miss it so much already LOL.

Yeah man give it a shot. Maybe it will work for you maybe not. Hopefully it does. Just turn it on and play a few games. It can't hurt.

Just go into a game and turn it on in there. I don't think you can turn it on in the main screen but I could be wrong. I just can't find it.

Yeah winning a game 6-4 only proves that the scoreboard in the game works. It doesn't prove or disprove any comeback ai option being reversed.

Dave, I wasn't talking to you. Did you read swaldo's comment about the comeback code?

Seems you missed that. I told you in PM do what you have to do to try to fix the game for you and others. You want me to not answer swaldos sarcastic comment? That how it works? You and I even discussed what he's accusing me of, in private, hours ago. It's not him, but he makes an arse of himself assuming it and he's wrong. That how it works? He could have PMd me, just like I did you. I haven't disrespected you on this.

Nice man. That's another thing I noticed about Ft Myers and I'm sure plenty of other places in FL. The bars were awesome. I went to this one bar I think it's a chain you probably heard of. Something like steakale or something like that. Ale's. I don't know I forgot. Either way they had 31 different beers on tap. Pretty sick if you ask me.

I finally figured out what you guys are talking about. I play MOM mode and this option does not exist in that mode.

I have noticed some comebacks when I'm winning but I attribute it to the Pirates bullpen which has a few issues.

I just tried it. Lost 8-1 as the Dodgers (Billingsley) playing at Houston (Moehler).

The CPU hit 4 homeruns and didn't let up once they got the lead. In fact, they had one of their patented "god" innings where I just couldn't do anything to stop, and watched them knock 3 homeruns and hit after hit. I gave up 6 runs that inning.

I didn't notice any decrease in their ability once they got the big lead.

In fact, I noticed my hitting felt crippled. I had 8 base hits, all weak singles up the middle just past the pitcher...yes, all 8 hits were the exact same. I only had 2 fly outs all game and all were weak groundouts.

Weird, but I can't make any conclusions after 1 game. I will try playing again with same settings.

this has got me thinking about it as well..here is a box score All-Star mode default settings (I'm not much of a "player" compared to MOM, but never felt really scared compared to before) I was Baltimore in exhibition test. Hendrickson with complete game(bonus home run robbed short video.

I have played approx. 50 games...all Exhibition / Legend / Default with the "Comeback" off. I have beaten the "machine" by as many as 10-12 runs on more than a few occasions and been beaten by as many as 10-12 runs on more than a few....I have won by coming from behind late in the game and been beaten by a late inning barrage of hits. I dont think there is anything written in to the game that has any dramatic effect on the outcomes except my poor pitching late in a game or my timely hitting late in a game.

75% of the Earths surface is covered by water......the remaining 25% is covered by Ichiro.
