I was on April 12th when the patch came out, and I simmed ahead, and only got to April 29th before mine crashed. Before playing too many more games, you might want to sim ahead and see if it crashes yours.

When you say it "crashses" what do you mean. Does the game freeze or does it boot you back to the XMB. I just want to know what im looking for.

Ok got you. Ill sim the rest of my season and see if the same thing happens to me. Ill try this when I get home. Ill also try to remember to disable autosave when i do this just in case there isnt any issues.

What game mode did the bug happen in?
Road to the Show

How did it happen or what did you do to trigger it? Can you recreate it?

In RTTS, which i'm 2+ years into, i go to the schedule or try to play the next game my PS3 resets. Also going to "sim season" resets the console.

How often can the bug be reproduced?
Everytime.

Please email me with ideas on how to save my rtts.

Any one have an idea as to why I can't get past the start screen? It just happened today when I tried to play and pressed start, then it just froze me. Shut off PS3 and tried again, same result. I deleted the game data and tried once more. Sadly, again it was the same result. Any one know what I can do aside from exchanging it for another copy? Cheers

I finished a game as the Phillies, vs. the Braves. It was the first game of their first series in May. Chan Ho Park was injured in the game. After the game, it autosaved, and i shut off my system. I booted up my system again, loaded the franchise, and simmed to the next day.

It asked me before any simming could be done to move Chan Ho Park to the DL or leave him off. I left him of the DL list cuz he was only going to be hurt a few days.

The problem was that they again simmed the game on the day that Chan Ho Park was hurt. in my teams stats, it shows I've played 34 games, but only 33 show up in the standings. basically, two games were played on the same day, and stats were collected for both, but only the second game on the day went towards my standings.

How often can the bug be reproduced?
On this specific day, I can't seem to get around it. I didn't have a previous save to attempt it again, nor do I want to attempt it again in my franchise, since my phillies are already playing 163 games this year. But everytime I loaded it upthe bug was there. I ended up simming past the day, and conceded the fact that I have a few extra stats this year.

Game will automatically shut down and reset once it reaches Monday August 11 vs. LAA, i'm playing as a Yankee player

Happens every time the sim reaches this day whether I try to sim past it or sim to it...I have no way to avoid it.

What Russell said before is all crashed RTTS would have to be restarted but the patch was suppose to fix the crash issues for the RTTSs that had crashed yet. Sounds like all RTTS should be on hold.

Does that mean my current RTTS career is toast?

The Sept. 14 RTTS sim bug fix from the last patch...is this similar to my August 11 one?

From my understanding of what russell mentioned before- its toast but really only the SCEA team knows for sure. No harm in keeping the save until you get future information. I am alarmed that RTTS appears to have a new glitch.

Did you apply the patch during the season it crashed? If thats the case then its probably tied to the schedule issues that are plaguing the prepatch started franchise guys. What you could try- if you have an older save of that RTTS is sim to the following season and then the schedule should be ok. If you dont' have an older save, your probably SOL, sorry.
