Should I keep it or exchange it for another sports game. I have NBA 2K9 for the PS3 already.
Dude if you could put up with the BS in that game then playing the Show should feel like a Hawaiian vacation. Open it and go for yours man.

      For what it's worth:

I have a Franchise in progress (about 45 games in) with the Cards based on some very early roster release because I am impatient (Yes, it does have the historical stats glitch).

I d'l the patch last night and played a game and had no problems...no crash, and replays after the game were fine.

I'm planning on starting up a new game in a few minutes here, so I'll post again if I have any problems.

I downloaded the patch and I'm still playing my pre-existing franchise (about 75 games in) and have not experienced any problems with post game highlights, replay vault etc. However, I now have real life players in my minor league system that weren't there before i.e. I play as the Phillies and now have Lou Marson, Ronny Paulino (who isn't on the team anymore) etc. Has anyone else experienced added players to their franchise post-patch?

You can use them in any way, shape or form....You can use them in season, in practice, in franchise. You can use them for exhibition, for quick games for RTTS.
You can play them in your sweat pants...your skivvies.......in the suit that God gave you while drinking a mint julip and eating grapes.
Holy heck what would you guys do in a real emergency!!

I can't believe I actually feel bad like somehow all this added pressure on SCEA is caused by me. I cannot however start these rosters over again just to rid them of the stat glitch. Just can't do it.
            Sorry.

Knight. No need to apologize buddy. Without your rosters the game wouldn't be nearly as good. The historical stat glitch isn't a big deal to me so I'm not complaining. As long as I can load up one of your rosters (via a USB stick apparently now) and make the game time tweaks using the 2nd controller method (ala the doc), then I'm one happy camper. Thanks again for all your hard work.

Well, my replays are indeed working. Wheew, I was worried about this one because I really enjoy this feature.

note: This is with a NEW franchise with SCEA 4/27 (edited rosters) (I don't think which rosters you use matter, just FYI).

I'm not getting any replays on mine. How do u erase this patch and go back to 1.1?

No going back to 1.1, unless someone on here has it and give it to us. Other than that, you are stuck with the 'stock' game or this patch.

the game is very good but it has gameplay flaws and these bugs...i wanna see these same apologist just say that the other sports games are just video games and be so care free
Co-sign. These guys don't deserve a free pass. How the DH fatigue issue ever got into the game reeked of terrible QA. Did nobody from the dev team ever play a season/franchise with an AL team? This was an EASY thing to spot. How this doesn't get fixed in the patch either is beyond me. This patch is a complete joke and failure.

I am glad to see that most people here realize how terrible this patch is and are holding them accountable.

We're complaining about it, but not sure we're holding them accountable. Who's the last person to speak to Russell? Can't hold someone accountable if they choose not to listen to you.

This is the same way i feel. This patch was garbage and now people have to buy an extra controller just to get the line-ups to stick. What type of crap is that? Did they even test this patch before releasing it? I completely agree with you and GURU on this. I'm so disappointed with the way this game has turned out. Baseball is my favorite sport and now I can't even enjoy this game because of all the flaws. If you play with CPU control on then you don't get any injuries. Injuries are part of the sport. At least if we got someone from SCEA telling us they are aware of the problem then ill feel better, but i have a feeling there just going to say wait till next years game. Just horrible. NO FREE PASS....

My first question is in regards to the historical stat glitch. I understand it affects players such as A-Rod, Tex, among others but my question pertains to players it may no be immediately impacting at this point. Let's say for example I'm SF, and I decide to play Buster Posey, he plays 5 years in the MLB, is there a chance his "historical" stats get screwed up? This of course goes for any player who's stats are not currently messed up. And my other question pretains to the computer roster control. Are injuries still disabled when this feature is on? And when it is on, does this mean the computer will not sign FA's and trade throughout the year because I am controlling their team?

But on the other hand, if you have too many injuries, you will be screwed by the 60-day DL bug which they somehow didn't fix.

I was planning on getting the game and starting my franchise once the patch was out, because I figured the game and rosters would be stable by then, but with how badly SCEA has botched this patch, I'm not so sure now.

My replays and post game highlights are working as well. Honestly I'm not seeing the problems everyone else is here. I had a couple of crashes but they aren't crashing at the same point, when it crashes I just turn it back on and continue. Not that big of a deal. I even simulated 3 months into the season to make sure, again no problem.

So I'm just using Knight's rosters and going on with my franchise. Nothing seems different than it was before, in fact I now I have some features I didn't have before the patch came out.
