I play RTTS and just got traded to the Astros, after the patch I have the automatic restart glitch. I have read that some people have deleted the patch from their system and the game works properly. Can someone tell me how to delete the patch? I just want to be able to play my game. Thanks in advance!

Couldn't tell ya, but I just never downloaded it, after hearing all of these horror stories!

this is ridiculous...people use their hard earned money to buy this game and the least they can do is put up an update to address whether there's another patch or something...some people may say its only a game but yea its a $60 game and i deserve to have an update on what is going on with this game whether its on this forum or their scea website

Delete the game data, then run the disc again and it'll reinstall...I'm in the middle of doing that right now - the first try, i loaded my RTTS save and it still crashed :-/ I sure hope the save isn't corrupted since it was saved in 1.06. But hey, I'll try again...this time I won't load any additional rosters or profiles or anything...just gonna go straight to RTTS and load that ONLY.

...RTTS still crashes after clean install from the disc. GAH!!!

Yeah, I wouldn't have either had I known. I got the glitch, googled it, and found this site. This sucks! I'm four years into a RTTS just made the all star team for the first time, and then this glitch will send me back more than a year of player development. I hope someone out there can help me!

yeah it's in the main PS3 menu, not in the game. scroll up and you'll see Game save data, from there find MLN 09, then hit triangle, then delete. the next time you run the game from the disc it'll just take a bit longer cuz it'll have to reinstall the files...note: when you first launch it it'll probably ask you if you want to install 1.06, that's up to you! I learned my lesson.. now i'm fuct - finally got called up to the bigs and will probably have to start the entire RTTS over. <shaking his head>

I just tried that and when it finally came up it still restarted on its own. Anybody have a way to make this work? I declined the 1.06. Still restarted. I am so disappointed at the moment.

soo does this patch do more harm than good. im strictly a franchise player using knights rosters. should i download it?

Could this be affecting just certain models of the PS3 or just be a case of chance? I haven't seen any problems like crashing with mine.

My RTTS progress over more than a season seems to be lost. Don't download it. I have a PS3 40.
