Playoff atmosphere with fans waving towels.

More TV-style camera angles for cut scenes, opening segment.

Dynamic commentary(recognize current award winners/division champs/world series champs ect ect.)

    Dynamic rivalries/storylines

I liked how in the ps2 days, it would show the players in the locker room after a game. Some would sit there and drink gatorade, some will chatter with other players, etc. Although it was a small postgame feature, I would like to see it again, especially in next gen.

Re: Put your "wishlist" things HERE (even though it's too late for The Show '10)

im sure these are mentioned, and i guess this isnt much of a wish list but more of a fix list.

        - no being booed at the allstar game !!

        - online latency issues needs tweaking, makes it difficult to tell if the ball will be in the strike zone or not. so many times seeing the ball out of the zone as a called strike. this not being a miss call by the ump, just the ball not tracking correctly.

        - add pitching practice, where you can pitch to specific batters or even an entire lineup.

        - playoff or bracket mode, you pick the teams to be in the playoffs. add the ability to make custom teams to be downloaded and added.

        - in game video tutorials or video instruction manuals. this game is difficult to pick up for newer players. give video tutorials on how some of the game features work. put on a 2nd disk if necessary ;D

        - ability to play a shorter season in franchise mode. i know season mode was meant for this, but not having full control of the franchise during season mode takes away from playing it.

        rtts issues:
        - fielding is terrible, makes you wonder how some of these guys made it to the show. also animation issue where it forces your player to stop moving when a ball is thrown to you, which is very annoying for turning double plays.

        - baserunning camera issues while running. its annoying to be running torwards a base then the camera changing then forcing you into a running error.

        - not sure if this is just a rtts issue, but baserunning after a foul ball. you will notice that all the runners will stop at the same exact time, aproximately the same distance from their base, with the exact same running animation.

        - rtts players maxing out on stats. granted this can be somewhat fixed over the long term by just upping the difficulty, however the ability to max out on stats is a bit too much regardless if you are playing on rookie or legend.

Wtf. I wouldn't want that. I would like interviews like after the game.

The crowd in 09 is great, but it could be better:

They sound disappointed when the home team singles up the middle. They cheer loudly on a routine pop up to the outfield.

                Seems backwards to me.

For 10, this should be fixed, and I want to hear the joint rockin when I'm about to get the final out in the LCS/WS.

Also, as mentioned, towels waving, stadium specific stuff (Anaheim's Thunder Sticks for example).......Yankee Stadium playing "New York" by Sinatra following a win (Do they still do that at the new place?)......etc........

I would LOVE classic stadiums (hopefully they are planning on including more than just Shea and old Yankee).

Not only older ones like Ebbets Field and Forbes Field, but also places like the Kingdome and Veteran's Stadium.

EDIT: I figure it would be pretty easy to include a bunch of the cookie-cutters (old Busch, Three Rivers, Riverfront/Cinergy, etc.) because of their simple, similar shape.

Agreed, more retro stadiums. I need the Astrodome again and the Kingdome. Plus Old Tiger Stadium and Candlestick park would be nice as well...

And I agree we need better crowd/atmosphere. Make the crowd more in it. They seem kind of disinterested.

                      ALSO, Better hitting physics...
09's hitting was obviously a vast improvement over 2008 in the realism department but it still needs ALOT of work. Im sick of seeing sliders down and away being hit out of the ballpark to left field. Also when Im busting 95-96 mph fastballs in on the hands and having them drive it to the wall in right field. This is a tad ridiculous. Im sure the physics in 2010 will be improved as well and I hope this is addressed. Im sure other people have seen this as well. Also I would like to see the stick play a bigger part in influencing where the ball goes and your hitters swing, like in MVP '05. If you hold it right and wait on the ball there is a better chance you will drive it to right field and vice versa and if you guess wrong then you will either hit a weak ground ball or miss completely. Would like to see this implemented as well.

But then you can throw that pitch all game. I remember in 2K7 I threw a perfect game with 20+ K's because I threw the old number 1 up and in all game.

-Enable online Rivarly and playoff series. Tracking stats and endurance effects.

-Enable online franchise with 2 owners (with AI control of other teams) or more and allow managing and simming functionality.

-Enable use of custom rosters in any online mode.

-Enable use of RTTS players online with other RTTS players in exhibition, and online franchises, ect...

                          Thanks.

Thank you SCEA, for adopting my ideas for a Playoff feature and eventually an 'online franchise'. No credit needed to be given... I am just happy you are working towards it...

The only item that would need to be added for me to buy the new game is build a stadium.... that would be awesome... maybe add a expansion team or just tear down your own stadium and build a new one.... if this feature is not added i will just play my mlb 09....
A few things I would like were prob mentioned before
                            1) collision detection ... when sliding into second
                            2) improved interaction with manager / players....
                            3) better umpiring.... so many times i slide into second lets say, and the ball from the catcher goes over my body before i touch the base... but i slide safely by a mile before the guy touches me and im out every time
                            4) buying stuff with the money you earned was a good idea.... i would sign with a team for little money so my club could get more free agents...
                            5) ending for career mode sucked.... i broke every record for hitting..... played 21 seasons (simmed half of them just to see ending).... and after retirement it takes you to a screen with just your accomplishments.... very disappointed in the ending
                            6) better roster management for franchise mode.... i like playing the front office manager game cause it is really in depth for being a GM.... I would like to see that kind of in depth GMing in a game where you can actually play

Overall game is good.... if they dont make that stadium addition then no point getting the new game for me.... building a stadium would be awesome... constructing wall height, how close to put fence to foul lines.... that would be sweet

i also just got madden 10 and i liked the extra point option.... it would be cool if they added a sportscenter and sportsnet show you can watch.... have jay onright and dan otool ( im sure i spell both names wrong) update you on the daily scores, and transactions if you choose to watch it
