Indians in first in the AL Central, but now I'm in some trouble. I was 39-27, but after a two game losing streak to the Cubs, I'm now 39-29, and only 2 games above Detroit.

    Currently playing in Veteran mode...

Went 66-96 with the Nats in year 1, I did some re-tooling in the off season. traded Cabrera for Porcello, Willingham for Snider, picked up Duaner Sanchez, Brandon Lyon and even Pedro. Now I'm 34-26 in year 2 with Dunn hitting like .350 with 20 HR 65RBI...Maybe playoff bound?

re: MLB The Show 09: Franchise Question and Answer Thread.

I just finished my last game for the month of June (a 9-0 loss to the Brewers in Milwaukee). Overall, my record is 35-43, which is good for 4th place in the NLE; 8.5 games behind the division-leading Braves

I'm also 4 games behind the Phoney Phils (38-38)

I've come a longgggggggg way though. A lot of it was I believe, getting used to playing this version of the game--the hitting is different (not as easy or is easily taken for granted) and the pitching is more challenging on HOF mode, that's for sure.

        I was 4-17 in April

        I was 16-13 in May

        and 15-13 in June

          ALL-STAR
          BRAVES FRANCHISE
          2-6

          My starting pitching is horrible.
Only guys doing well batting wise are chipper and mccann.

I sware there's a comeback in the game, every game I was winning they came back the next inning like are you serious, very frustrated. I'm a pretty good player but can't figure this damn computer out. Also im playing default all-star sliders.

Well, I'm new to this game & started out on Veteran level with the Brewers & was 1-7 (my win was a game-winning single in the bottom of the 12th with a bullpen pitcher cause I used up all my bench players).
Then I found the way to put it on Rookie level (where I want to be) & am 3-2 since.
So, 4-9 so far & can't wait to play a few more games tomorrow.

For you guys who play on All-star, Hall of Fame, and Legend and can win on this game, you guys deserve some kind of reward...I`m not kidding. I play on Veteran and constantly get the hell beat out of me. It`s to the point of ridiculous. This game is the most infuriating game I have ever played in my life. I could take it and fling it like a frisbee as far as I could possibly throw it.

39-30 now. Just got swept by the Cubs. Hoping to make up for it against the Pirates in the upcoming series.
Oh, and I lost Martinez for a couple weeks. Pulled hamstring.....

(Cubs, BTW, are 49-20!!!! how many Cubs fans wish that were true in real life!?)

I'm 4-8 now. Just lost a game I was winning 6-3 in. 8th inning. My guy throws three pitches that were strikes, but were called balls. He eventually walked. Sometimes I feel like I'm supposed to lose.

17-25 with the NAtionals.....on legend wish Phoenix sliders

DOn't be afraid to send guy to minors and call guy from the minors...

My catchers are Luke Montz and derek Norris (guy from AA)

with Jesus Flores, Wil Nieves, Josh Bard and Josh Willingham in the minors

Lost Milledge, Guzman, Belliard and Lannan by waivers.....at least I'll save cash...

I think that Hot and Cold Streak are very important in this game....so if a hitter is in a slump, send it to minors until he corrects that

Im playing as the Indians on Veteran level. I can't even get to .500! They totally mirror real life. My bullpen is pathetic. I have sent up guys and sent down guys trying to piece together a bullpen. Betancourt i sent down once, saw he was doing well in AAA, so I gave him a chance again. Well, first game he pitched in, he gave up a grand slam lol. I was so mad. I'm like 21-30, losing first 2 games of 4 game series against NYY. I noticed its reallyyy hard to win 1-run games. In 14 1 run games, I am 3-13. Mainly because of my bullpen. My offense is putting up good numbers, in top 10 in all offensive categories, top 5 in a few. My ERA is like 4.12 tho, KC is about to catch me and put me in last place in the AL Central.
