If so, they run until you switch them to something/someone else.

Ex: If on the radio you're marketing Sluggers...it will remain sluggers and the same player until you switch it up. I change mine every Sunday(in the game) and rotate amongst the 4 media outlets.
I hadn't updated the ads in awhile and it said on feedback that the fans hadn't saw any TV ads, but I bought TV ads at the begining of the seaon, and it is May 1st on my season.

did you actually run ads or did you just agree to a contract with a tv network at the beginning of the year?

hmmm....I was under the impression that when you ran ads they stayed until you changed them with something else.

In that case, I apologize for the incorrect information, and I also do not know the answer to your question.

          My bad McMBlaster.

The feedback is based on the dollar amount being spent. It's not that you didn't have ads going, it's that you apparently didn't spend enough.

the ads do stay (although I think they rotate the players...they did on PS2 anyway, not sure now to be honest), just gotta edit the $$$ amount.

The feedback is instantaneous, so just increase the money in moderate increments and then check the feedback. When it's a green flag with a comment like "It sure is swell to see our team advertised on TV" (or some such comment), you're good.

I'm still clueless as to how to draw in income for my team. I'm last in the league, some 24 million behind the top teams.

When I look at my budget, everything looks fine except for stadium expenses. For some reason, a TON of money is tied up in vendors, even though I didn't add any. The only thing I've done is upgrade to a team bus for road trips.

When I look at what I'm earning in terms of merchandise, ticket sales, parking, etc., I'm comparable with the rest of the league.

How do I get more dollars in my account?

i'm loving the franchise in this game! finally something that will get me away from MVP 05, every once in awhile - although i strangely continue to go back to that game ... i just finished my first complete season with my Rockies, went 63-99, i was wondering what your guys' strategy is? ... do u play every game? ... my method was i would play all my division games, i still end up simming some ... i'd like to play all the games, but just cant seem to find the time or patience ...

i enjoy reading how all the franchises are going, so please keep posting and good luck!!!

Man, I'm using the Rockies too. 63-99 is looking like a good season for me. I'm 3-6 right now and have a whopping 2 HR's so far. Ubaldo has 2 of my 3 wins.

I am trying to play every game. Aiming for 1-2 games a day. I'll sim ahead if I'm losing by a ton (lost 19-4 the other day to the Cubs) to save a little time.

Ubaldo has been really good for me also! ... in my first season, he went 16-9 with a 3.49 ERA and 199 k's ... this season he's 2-0 with a 2.09 ERA ... he got injured running the bases after a base hit so it's hurt my rotation ...

How's Helton and the lineup doing for you? ... Helton seems to be my ONE consistent performer on offense ... Tulo, Hawpe and Atkins go in streaks of greatness and just plain terrible ... when they are playing good, i can win some games but most of the times i'm struggling to put together much offense

i'm trying to play every game of this season, we'll see how it goes!

Ubaldo has 20 K's after 2 starts this season. Threw a 2-hitter with 12 K's in his first start; my best pitching performance ever in this game.

Helton's been in a major slump but is showing signs of life. Tulo is actually on fire, hitting over .400 with a 9-game hitting streak. Hawpe has been slow to come around, too.

I've actually got Ian Stewart starting at 3B over Atkins, but Atkins fills in at 1B for Helton on ocassion and also plays when I'm facing a lefty.

As I said, the lack of power is killing me. I can get around 7-10 hits a game but most are singles and I am stranding runners in scoring position. Dexter Fowler does have 5 steals, so that's good.

Any tips on using Jason Marquis? I get shelled every time he comes up in the rotation?

Also curious as to what your profits were after 1 season? Right now I'm ranked 30th and well below the top-5 teams. Of course, I've only had 3 home games so far.

                              Re-started a Dodgers Franchise recently.

11-8 right now with a 1/2 game lead over Arizona.

Just lost to Colorado 11-6 and about to go to San Francisco to end April.

Martin and Ramirez have 5 HR's but my best offensive player has been Andre Ethier. He is hitting .364 with 4HR and 16RBI's.

Pitching has been a little crappy recently, but Broxton has been solid at the backend. I usually don't get a good feel for my best relievers until mid May anyways.
