And I have no plans on wasting HD space on any other games. It will be '09 til '10 comes out, and even if something dreadful happens, and '10 is a step back, I will still have the best console baseball game I have ever played as a fall back.

Nice to have that security blanket as opposed to wishing and hoping for another year of my 360's baseball game to just not suck quite as much as the year before.

Every game I play I shake my head as more layers of the onion gets peeled away...

I too went out and purchased a PS3 just for this game. It's just that good. And I'm not disappointed in the least.

I'm still playing my season with the Orioles. I think I've almost played all 162 regular season games. That's a first in a sports videogame for me.....to make it through an entire season without really having to simulate.

I LOVE THIS GAME!! It's amazing!

Re: I cannot stop playing this video game.

I need to throw my hat in the ring. I bought my PS3 solely for this game and it was a great purchase. I love the PS3 and the exclusives. Uncharted 2 was fantastic.

I had stopped playing this for a while but with the postseason I got back into it. I am currently in the 2012 NLDS with the Mets. I am down 2-1 so I need a big win when I play tonight. I don't play all the games, I enjoy the team building and offseason too much. I am sure I will continue playing this game until MLB 10 releases.

Once I win a World Series with the Mets I am going to start a new franchise with the Indians. I am going to do manage only though and leave all business aspects to the CPU. I will only worry about players and the games. Looking forward to that getting me through a few months of playing.

I really hope they hit franchise mode hard next year. I would love to see more minor league levels, improved training and more personality/morale with the players and team chemistry. I just played Front Office Manager last night for the first time (rented out of curiousity) and it was awful. SCEA, look to that game on what not to do if you plan to add more depth to the franchise mode.

I agree with you guys. This game is just amazing. The first game I ever bought for the PS3 was MLB 08 and got addicted to it that I decided to buy MLB 09 a few months later. This game makes me feel like I'm watching it from the Stadium itself! The presentation and everything is 10/10 in my opinion.
Why did I move here? I guess it was the weather.

I agree with all of you here. By far the best baseball game ever. Unfortunately, the DL glitch killed franchise for me, but the gameplay is unmatched by any sport game.

This game is an owner or expansion mode away from being the best game ever (regardless of genre).
