Exactly, I'm probably one of the few that could care less about weather. I was asking about whether or not the cloud cover that we had in day games last year would make its way over to night games this year.

You are not, or at least will not, be the only one that nitpicks at things when the game comes out, as I'll venture to say that we'll all do it in some form or fashion. Again, I am sorry if you thought my post was in some fashion an "attack" against you as it most certainly was not. I guess thats the problem with reading things via the computer is we, even with smileys, can't always understand the tone of a post nor fully disclose an intended tone with a post.

I disagree. And I will tell you why. The graphics will look so much better just from transition lighting alone! That will go a long way.

Agreed. When they added the transition lighting to 09, it made it look so much better. Now that they are improving it, watch out!

I am excited to have the transition lighting for the day games now too. That will go a long way when you are playing a day game and see the shadows shift. I hope they make some Parks have a hard time for the batters seeing the ball when the game starts and then as it gets to the later innings it gets better. I know some Parks has that problems sometimes.

I was totally bummed last year when I found out that daytime lighting was omitted. I cannot wait to see it in all of its glory this year.

Yeah, but in reality it was a good thing. It was not up to par for them. So they did the right the right thing.

They did not finish it, ran out of time.

I really want to know if day games can turn to night. It seems like what would be ideal is a 24 hour continuating lighting effect for every day of the year. Then you can thearetically go from a day game into night and back to day (not realistic but should be possible). This way the schedule could have 4:05 games or any other time.

From the sounds of it, specifically from the guys at community day last year (yourself included Nem), the process of implementing the lighting seems to be quite the task. Adding it in for all of the MLB parks as well as the Minor League stadiums is more than likely very time consuming. Having it all in this year is going to be a treat!

BTW, I know there was talk about the white flash vs. fade, but I really believe the first three vids were cutscene driven while the 4th was RTP. There was just so much difference in the first camera cut after a play ended that it had to be two different presentation modes.

Thanks a lot for posting the videos, and also to Russell for allowing you to!

Just a quick note none of the new batting stances or signature animations are in this build not one. Secondlyi keep seeing comments about idiot with the sticks playing defense that's me and I'm doing it on purpose to allow more at bats.

I'd love to know this as well. For instance, all Cub home games start at 1:20.... is there a light setting for that exact time or will we have to start games @ 1, 4, and 7?
