Right on, like they do with the red (?) arrows on ESPN and the number in feet on each one.Ⓥ Boston Red Sox | Miami DolphinsComment

**edit** no I guess that wouldn't help. I forgot it usually shows the batter in those.Originally posted by Anthony BourdainThe celebrity chef culture is a remarkable and admittedly annoying phenomenon. For the people that don't like the camera there are 3 options for camera in the settings. In HR Derby #1 video the default camera hit view is 'High'. But at around 2:25 of that video it gets changed to 'Low'. The other option is 'Medium'. This still equates to following the shadow of the ball tho I believe.
However, If you'll notice too there is a Batting View option too in that menu. The default is catcher. So maybe, just maybe we can see the ball in the air if the batting view were changed? Crossing Fingers here...

Yeah, they just need one set up like the "broadcast view" but shows the flight of the ball and zooms slightly to it as it leaves. Much like you would see in the HR derby.
And a recap after with the arrows and ball placements with the distance like Nemesis mentioned.
Similar to 2K, but with more "effect" and pop than what it has (the stadium nuances in The Show probably will help with it, since it wont cut away from the crowd as fast so you can see them grab the ball).

Re: MLB '10: The Show Hands-On Impressions @ CES w/ Russell_SCEA *Day 2*
It makes no sense to me, to tout the new broadcast cam and the long awaited homerun derby and not combine the two. I was really excited about this feature, but not anymore. If the broadcast cam is just a new camera angle to choose from, we should be able to choose it in any mode, a game, homerun derby, batting practice. Disappointed.“The saddest part of life is when someone who gave you your best memories becomes a memory”Comment

I really thought after the long absence that they would bring the HR Derby back with new & exciting features but it looks like they just added the old one back in to make people happy
I hope Homeruns in actual games look better then that with the new broadcast cameraComment

Technically, they should look like the broadcast cam replays in 09 except this year they will be happening in real time!“The saddest part of life is when someone who gave you your best memories becomes a memory”Comment

Re: MLB '10: The Show Hands-On Impressions @ CES w/ Russell_SCEA *Day 2*
Did russel ever mention anything about specific transitional lighting for games that start at 12, 1, 4, 5, or 7? Did he mention start times at all? thanksComment
