I've walked guys in '09 and my pitcher has reacted by throwing his hat down. They definitely show frustration to a point.

I've never seen that..but then again I never play franchise.I'm definitely gonna start one in MLB 10.

Can the home plate umpire call you out on a check swing or is it still just the first and third base umps that do this?

Sometimes. I'm sure many would think it doesn't happen enough. I personally think it needs more work.

I set up a situation like that to get a K with Joba to see if he goes crazy and was disappointed with the crowd and his reaction.

Yes, but the major league roster expands when the minor league season ends. And everyone who is set on the 40 man (expanded roster) is expanded to the MLB rosters. That is why that time of year the dugouts and bullpens are much more crowded.

Doesn't seem like they are doing it wrong. You set your 40 man before Sept 1st. Just as in real life. And after Sept 1st they are all on the expanded roster.



So before Sept 1st, you just set up the 40 man to your liking. Right?

On September 1, teams are allowed to add any player on the 40-man roster to the active roster - basically, raising the limit to 40 players. It's rare that a team would actually hit that limit because several of the slots are usually held by players on the DL or minor leaguers who have to be on that protected roster but who aren't ready for the majors yet.

(Plus, you've gotta pay them at the major league rate and they accrue MLB service time, which a team may not want to do for a player who isn't really needed.)

Thome will hit 10-15 homers against the White Sox alone, and Ozzie Guillen will be wishing he had him back. Andruw Jones and Carlos Quentin will be on the DL, where they have spent most of their careers, and the White Sox will struggle to hit those big three-run homers they are so used to hitting, the only way they can win by the way!!!

Can't wait for this to come true in real life, and on The Show!!!

And where would he play? He is only a DH now. And their is no room on the field for him. Nor would I play him with Youk at first and Beltre at 3rd.

Didn't you guys say that all the new pitcher animations havent been fully implemented yet?
