One other thing you can see when in these stadiums is your pitch breaks are slightly lower. Your pitch speeds are slightly higher. This is visible in the pitch break indicator in 1P games.

Simply Amazing. I think you guys put in more little things than all the other sports games combined

Wow, this is probably the most interesting information I've read about The Show's engine!! Very cool. Now I'd love to better understand what determines solid contact with the bat on ball...

The other day, against the CPU I saw Greg Zaun lunge off the plate and hit a fastball low and away, nearly a foot outside the strike zone, and he powered it out for a homerun!!?? The lunging swing looked like the strikeout cutscene, but then transitioned into a no-doubter HR cutscene. It was the most bizarre thing I'd seen in the game. Kinda supports the theory that the CPU hits too many homeruns, but since I was winning 12-2 anyway, I wasn't at all angry, just curious about how on earth it happened.

You better ask somebody (Nemesis, Knight, or Pared) on how B Ma rolls. Anyway hes not going to give away the secrets but he might indulge the community. Don't ask him to do it though and don't pm him about it either.

Nah I wont, I am just joking around. I do love the technical side of things though. I get engrossed with behind the scenes vid-docs on games that get all technical with them, especially with the physics and graphics.

It's the specific people making The Show that make it so great. Just logically, they wouldn't have time to do everything for multiple games

I agree with this, im all about baseball before any other sport and these guys make such an incredible game that i HAVE to buy every new version of The Show.

Man, you SCEA guys are nuts, in a completely awesome geeked out way! I think the end product really shows you much you all love the game, love physics and math, and love attention to detail.

When we tested various teams and stadiums, Yankee stadium produced way more home runs than other stadiums. We don't take for granted that things will work out the same as real life, but it's a good sign when it does.

Ironic, because I noticed in 09 that I could never hit a HR in Yankee Stadium in my RTTS. I usually hit at least one HR every series, but in New York I had a lot of warning track shots instead. However, attribute wise the Yankees had great pitching so it's possible that had something to do with it.
