Wow man that sucks. My only problems with the game last year were citi field and the missing 80's jerseys for all teams. Oh well at least they fixed citi field, for the most part, from last year. I'll be getting the game friday and i'll still play it non-stop.

      Non-trophy question:

Has the create a player mode been revamped much? Do they allow real long hair (that sticks out from the at etc) and stuff like that?

wow, those stats look pretty accurate. maybe not some of the players with those statistics, but for the most part the numbers themselves seem right on par.

Wow, I'm surprised to see both the White Sox and Twins with 95+ wins.

Also nice to see John Danks getting some respect. Looks like he's a lot better in this game just based on the 19 wins on a sim.

It appears the servers are up but nobody is online. I looked at the leader boards and only 2 games have been played so far. It let's me go in to create a league so it appears everything is functional.

Do they finally have team stats seperated by AL/NL, or is everything still lumped together as the MLB. And are pitchers considerd for Rookie of the Year, or is it still hitters only?

What you're asking about are the signature animations. I'm not sure but I think most of the big name players have them, but yeah most do not. That's alot of animations if they were to do that and if they tried using generic ones I'm sure somebody would complain about it.

I'm just glad they look good as they do. Now if only they worked on player physics like feet touching the ground properly on the pitcher's mound or the first baseman walking through the baserunner on pickoffs/plays at first. Still the gameplay is solid and I love the new fielding animations. Longest 6 days ever!

Not sure if this is the right place to ask this question but someone who has had a chance to play might know. When it comes to commentary at the start of a game, do the commentators still talk about last years stats all the time even when you're half way through a season? Is there situational commentary that actually kicks in now?

Someone had asked about a ticker on a earlier post........I'm playing a regular season franchise game and randomly throughout the game a ticker comes up below the scoreline at the top of the screen that shows scores of other games in progress. That same ticker bar shows various news as well about players.....for example, when Manny Ramirez came up to bad it said the chase for 600 was on and that he currently had 548 homeruns or something like that.

How's the commentary? Has it changed from last year or even the year before that. That's the one thing that bothers me. But, maybe they added in some new stuff. Thanks for answering questions.

They have definitely added some new stuff this year....Haven't played enough to know how repetitive it may be but so far I really like it. Seems like most of the stuff I have heard is slightly different then what was heard in 09, 08, and 07 LOL

I know some people after a while will get bored of the same announcers no matter how much commentary they add.
