I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.
I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

Re: MLB '10: The Show Commercial
Yeah it must be a kid thing but even my 15 year old nephew didnt care for them , I mean kinda of like why that reality junk on Tv is popular ?
I really would prefer more of the game and some good in game music .
One I really liked was NHL 10 with the hockey song .Comment

Sorry but I hated the commercial. A 30 second commercial should show 30 seconds of gameplay. They should be targeting the casual gamer who isn't following the game online 24/7. People are going to buy the game because Butler and Mauer had a "funny" convo. People are going to buy the game if they see 30 seconds of awesome gameplay.Comment

Re: MLB '10: The Show Commercial
I think the exact opposite of that. I would think that people who are into things like reality TV and other modern trends would tend to be the people who would not like this type of humor. I'm not implying that you like things like that because you do not like the commercial.Last edited by Jason_19; 02-28-2010, 12:05 AM.Comment

But to give my 2 cents...SCEA MLB commercials have always been like this. Not necessarily with Kevin Butler but they always had a humorous approach with their television marketing.
For example:
<object width="425" height="344">
<embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/8eXjzKd6uRA&hl=en_US&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></object>
whether they show in-game footage or not they always target baseball as being the main aspect of the whole commercial without going too overboard.
(PS if you peek behind Kevin Butler, THEY DO show in-game footage)
