I'm running a franchise with LAD, and I played my first game at FLA. I hit a ball with Martin, and their LF took a false step or two in, then tried to track backward and catch it but couldn't make up the space he lost. He totally misplayed the ball! I don't remember ever seeing that last year. Very cool touch!

i remember watching a phillies game last year at the marlins and they were talking about how bad the lighting was and how hard it was to judge balls at that ballpark.. wow

also i love how the ball can deflect of people. like in my rtts i hit a screaming line drive the the first basemen jumped up to catch it and it hit the heel of his glove and ricocheted into foul territory but since he touched it fair it was a fair ball and i got a double for it.. also in an exhibition game i hit a line drive (idk who hit it) and it took a funny bounce and hit the outfielder square in the chest! i was like wow that HAS to hurt hahah

      This was nuts.....

So CLE (me) vs. White Sox (CPU). I throw what was surely a strike, but was called a ball. I was so ticked off, that I lost concentration just for a second and threw a slider right down mainstreet that was clubbed for a two-run HR.

Here's the nutty part----- Hudler actually said "Ooh, it looks like he was so mad about that last pitch being called a ball, he just lost his focus and that's all it took!"

Like the game read my mind or something.........awesome stuff!

Yeah, the little things in this game are insane. I spent some time today putting in the proper sounds for Yankees players and Red Sox players and played a few games at Fenway and Yankee Stadium. The feeling I got as I heard the music come in at the right time, the batter walk-up music, etc. etc. was indescribable. I really wanted to put the game on CPU vs. CPU and just find a way to record the entire game so that I could put it on my iPhone and watch it while I'm away from home next week!

I can't believe this thread got buried!

I was playing as the Dodgers at Fenway and Manny's first at-bat the crowd booed him like crazy and the announcers commented on it. Another nice touch!

When I was playing as the Angels against the Yankees at Angel Stadium I heard a fan's voice chant "overrated, overrated" when Derek Jeter was batting. Pretty cool.

they recognize it, but not to the extent they need to. Hopefully next year, all players will wear number 42 in honor of Jackie Robinson.

                        MK,

Thought I should give you a heads up if you didn't know this already, but I was just playing a game @ Citi Field, and the PA Announcer welcomed you to the game. That's pretty awesome man. Thought you'd like to know if you didn't already.

P.S. You guys did an awesome job on the rosters, as always

played a game against the Astros where they wore their late 70's mid 80's uni's(orange/yellow stripes going through them) and Matty V commented on how they have to be the worse looking uniforms in the history of the game.

apparently they can't have all the players wearing the same number for coding reasons

In my RTTS career, I lined a shot to CF, with a runner on 2nd. CF fields the ball off the one hop, as the runner rounds 3rd. CF throws to home, and apparently had a LOT of umph on the ball, as he lunged to the ground after the throw... lol. It was awesome. I still got the RBI, but it was cool watching the guy literally fall to the ground throwing the ball so hard trying for the play at the plate.

I would love for them to find a way if this is indeed the case.
