and as I type that.... Michael Kays radio call comes on when the Mets 2b dropped the pop up 3rd out last year, and Texiera scored the winning run..

Why am I at work right now?....

Can someone please tell me if Papelbon FINALLY has his correct delivery? Every year since 07 I've been waiting for this. Anyone? I really want to know and can't wait until tonight when I get home. Thanks!

I think this is right but I'm just playing around in franchise mode and got to Father's day and played Mets @ Yankees - both sets of players had light blue wrist bands on - which I'm guessing is for the aforementioned Father's day - pretty neat.

I love how the announcers mention that the Yankees are now 27 time champs!

In the finals of the HR Derby, I needed one HR to tie in the finals with one out left. The PA announcer mentioned this.

Also in the HR derby, I had 7 or 8 outs and 0 HR, and the PA announcer was trying to rally the crowd to get behind me.
                    Nice!
but the bolded part is gonna have to be fixed for 11.

I think hitting HR's is harder this year. I played my first game at Coors Field last night and won 3-1 with the Pads and there were no HR's. It was fun to play small ball and actually have it work.

Dave actually mentioned the "little things" thread in reference to me doing the little things in order to win.

Why? Are they going to take away the late 90's championship trophies since the teams were all on steroids? JUST KIDDING!! Relax. All in good humor.

New commentary line - notification of the on-deck hitter as the inning begins. 2nd inning starts with Marlon Byrd, Matt says Byrd is due up (stitch) to be followed by Alfonso Soriano. Nice touch.

(first game) Very first at bat (Phils vs Rockies) J-roll is down 1-2 on Jimenez. Jimenez throws a low fast ball ... Jimmy Rollins hits the ball into the stands right by the right foul pole ....HOME RUN!!! but wait!!! the first base ump calls a conference at home plate to see if the ball was a foul or not! Then after the review he calls Home run!!..I dont know what I was more hype about the lil review or my first at bat home run!!!!

Excellent. we saw two HR reviews at CPE, but both were called foul. This is the first mention I've seen of a HR counting.

(I haven't played The Show since 07 so forgive me if this isn't "new".)

I was the Red Sox playing at home against the Royals. Butler on the Royals smacks a high and tight fastball that seems as if it's going to fall right in front of the LF corner in front of the green monster. Ellsbury is chasing it down all the way though and makes an awesome catch, then falls down and rolls over himself.

The commentary said something like "Ellsbury with the beautiful catch, and then afterwords a little Olympic floor exercise." I laughed out loud.

                                Awesome game.
