Situation: My player is a left-handed throwing outfielder, but in some games he will be put in the infield and be throwing right handed

Ability to be reproduced: Has happened 4 times already

Me too, even have played a few inns at catcher (Right Handed of course)

getting really sick of every time I quit the game and take the game out it resets my PS3.This stuff really needs to be fixed, this is just getting frustrated.

FF, don't quit the game from the xmb do it the old way of holding down the PS button and quit from that screen.

How did it happen or what did you do to trigger it? Can you recreate it?

1: The pitch history this year only works with "guess pitch" or "pitch/swing info" on. This was not the case last year. Don't know if it's a bug or done on purpose. I always had both off but regularly used R2 to check the pitch history.
2: The colours in pitch history are almost impossible to see. Same goes for the hot/cold zones when pressing select. Looks like there is some dark layer over it or something.

While pitching with all the markers off I rely on the rumble function of the controller telling me when I'm leaving the strike zone.
This year during games at some point (don't know if there's an exact trigger) it goes from working like it should to narrowing the strike zone by which i mean the controller starts rumbling way before I'm even at the corner of the strikezone.

How often can the bug be reproduced?

This doesn't happen every game but it does happen from game to game and it bugs me

I have been noticing in my franchise that mnay teams only carry one catcher on MLB roster, while some are carrying 4. Last season had logic where there would always be a backup.

Every sim.

Overthrow by second baseman into stands. All runners kept advancing until bases were cleared and 3 runs scored, but camera was stuck showing stands...would not move from that position so I could not tell if ball was actually in stands or had bounced off the wall and back into field of play. I was using auto fielding and manual throwing on RTP View with replays.

How often can the bug be reproduced?

Not sure.

Since turning off the play by play guys I am now getting at random times during every game I play what sounds like "card shuffling". Also when I turned the play by play guys back on I still here the "card shuffling" sound and also the play by play guys are really off at times on there calls.

Always! It will not stop

I hit a grouind ball to the second basemen and he over throwed the first basemen and the catcher ran over to back him up like always but for some reason the catcher just stood there looking at the ball and did not make an attempt to pick it up. And so the first basemen ended up getting the ball.


How often can the bug be reproduced?

Only happend once so far.

I hit a deep fly ball right in front of the wall in right field and the right fielder should have catched it but instead let in drop right next to him and the ball bounced over the wall for a ground rule double. He ran back to catch it but then just stood there watching the ball drop. It almost looked the like fielder thought it was going to be a HR but it drop right next to him and should have been caught!

I striked out but the ball was in the dirt so the catcher had to throw to first for the out and he did record the out but the first basemen was not on the bug! He was about a foot away from the first base bag and I was still called out.

It was the bottom of the 9th and playing the Nationals. Here is the game log...
"Morse pinch hit for Guzman. Morse stuck out looking on a 0-2 fastball low and in."
After that pitch I had (I think) Morse sitting on the pitcher's mound just like Mauer did in one of my earlier games after he hit a home run. I'd also like to mention that Mauer AND Morse both freaked out each time I pitched the ball so they know something was going on with the ball near them



How often can the bug be reproduced?
Not too sure. This is the second time it's happened to me in two different scenarios. Both of them were games that I was ahead 7 runs or more though. That's the only thing they have i common right now that I can see

I hit the start button during a game and when I hit start again to resume play the "scorebar" at the top of the screen was missing! I got it back by hitting start again and then again. Twice to pause and resume.

2 outs, bottom of the 9th, runners on 2nd & 3rd, Yankees leading by 1. Pat Burrell hit a weak grounder down the 3rd base line. The ball hit the runner so it shouldve been the final out of the game or a foul ball. Instead its called a base hit and the Rays tied the game. Heres video:

Sorry for the distant view but the ball hits the 3rd base runner and you can see ARod pick it up at the end.

If I hit the X button to skip the players talking to the coach during pregame hitting it freezes up and I have to restart. This only happens at San Diego.

How did it happen or what did you do to trigger it? Can you recreate it?

My RTTS guy on 1st, minimum leadoff and leaning toward 2nd base. Pitcher randomly steps off and RTTS guy bolts for 2nd base - nothing I can do will make him turn around. He gets thrown out easily then gets benched for trying to steal when he's had the green light taken off him for the exact same thing.

Seems to be random.
