RTTS

How did it happen or what did you do to trigger it? Can you recreate it?

I was playing RTTS at the shortstop position. I had the setting on All Fielding, Fast Play on. There was a play where the batter had a check swing and it went to the 3rd base ump for the ruling. The camera switches to show the umpire, who called it a no swing. but the camera stayed on the ump for the next play. And wouldn't you know it the next pitch was a ground ball to me. But I had no idea what was going on so my guy ended up just holding the ball (watched the replay). Camera should have cut back to me after the ump made his call on the check swing.

How often can the bug be reproduced?

Hard to tell as it is out of my control.

Pinch hit with Delmon Young for Denard Span, hit a liner off the pitcher (Rafael Perez) and the ball rolled over to around the SS, but no one picked it up. Matt announced it was foul, but I ran to 1st and before the ball even stopped rolling, the ump just threw a new ball to the pitcher.

How often can the bug be reproduced?No idea, haven't hit it off the pitcher again yet.

I just wanted to say that I have not yet seen this, but I have hit it off the pitcher three times now. Once it went off C.C.'s foot and popped up slightly for him to catch it in the air (which was cool), another was off Billingsley's foot which we went over to in time to throw me out, and a third time was off Billingsley's foot again (same inning, nevertheless) over to the second baseman, who I hoped would do one of those one-handed pick ups while charging and just submarine it over to first, but instead he gloved it and came upright, so I beat it out in time.

Either way, all of them were considered "in play," so I can confirm that this doesn't happen every time at least, thus must be random or have some other calculation involved.

I hesitate to call this a bug, but it can be a little confusing at first:

N/A (Outside of game, in menus)

Profile gameplay settings changes do not stick automatically when loading a profile after starting the game up. Profile settings are saved separately from global user settings - that's not a bug. However, if you make changes to the profile settings they are not saved automatically even with auto save on - it's evident because of the check mark on the save screen next to "profile". Saving them manually from that screen works fine, and the settings DO stick after that. It can be re-created very easily.

How often can the bug be reproduced?
Anytime. Me and Brett were discussing this one, and we both noticed the problem before I stumbled onto the save screen and found the box checked.

I was playing as the Cubs at Wrigley; I threw a wild pitch that bounced in the dirt. When the ball got to the backstop, the ball went straight through the backstop somewhere on the left side of the ad board where the ad meets the brick wall. Since the ball went through the wall, I couldn't get to it, and everyone on base had to score before the play could end; that really ticked me off.

How often can the bug be reproduced?

Not sure, but presumably every time there's a wild pitch where the ball goes in that area on the left side of the backstop ad at Wrigley.

1st Spring training game. Playing as the A's against the Cubs.Started in the 6th inning. As usual during spring training games I started to pinch hit for all the starters after selecting a pinch hitter via Start button, the Team Management page would continue to be displayed as my pinch hitter was at bat. Happened 8 times, every time I pinch hit for the rest of the game. The page could be cleared by hitting start to bring up the menu again and then closing the menu would make it dissapear as normal.

How often can the bug be reproduced? Only happened in that one game and can't get it to reproduce again.

Edit: Can be reproduced at will. It only happens after completing a Double Switch previously in the game. When my team comes up to bat the next inning the bug reproduces every time I pinch hitting for position players using the Start button.

Turned off all ball marker/region indicators and still get the big baseball indicator on the field.

2nd game of RTTS. I am a SP. Entered the game as a MR for the Birmingham Barons, playing at home against the Carolina Mudcats. Top of the 7th inning, two men on (1st and 2nd). Fly ball down the line to left field, caught by the LF about 5 feet left of the fou line. Ball is thrown in, and then thrown to me. My player just stands on the mound, taking one step forward, and one step back, forever. The game hangs like this and there is no advancing it. Only way to advance is to quit the entire game (exit to PS3 menu) and then restart The Show

How often can the bug be reproduced?

This is the first time it has happened to me, granted I've only played 2 games.

- Line drive, one-bouncer hit behind Nick Markakis and was ruled a ground-rule double, even though it bounced off the fence (less than halfway up) and bounced back onto the field at Camden Yards (rightfield wall). Wasn't even close to bouncing above that 20-foot wall.

How often can the bug be reproduced?

- Have only seen it once, but have only completed one game at Camden Yards.

I have my own interesting Camden Yards fielding bug.

A deep fly ball to right center looks as if its about to be caught by the right fielder. It bounces past, fine, and so it looks like CF will get it. As the ball heads towards him, it magically zaps into the RFs glove, and he proceeds to act out the casual toss animation, even though the ball was live and a runner was moving. (see video)
I'm not sure if I can re-create it.

So far, first time.

When pressing the select button to bring up the batter/pitching analysis screen, the attributes for all hitters PWL are lower than what they are when you view a player's card. Someone like A-rod who power against lefty is in the 90's shows a very low bar at that screen.

Trading between AI controlled teams is absurd when injuries are enabled and seemingly nonexistent when injuries are disabled.

For example, when injuries are enabled the Red Sox go out of their way to trade Josh Beckett and Jon Lester. They also seem to throw Victor Martinez and David Ortiz on the block. It's unrelated to in-season performance because this is happening when the team is many games over .500.

When injuries are disabled teams still put players on the trading block but big trades don't seem to occur. My guess is that injury needs influence the way AI goes after/deals players to too extreme a degree.

Just simulate a season through the trading deadline.

Yes, it can be recreated. Sim a few seasons with injuries enabled and then a few with injuries disabled and the difference should be obvious.

How often can the bug be reproduced?

Every time. I simulated through the trading deadline several times with injuries on and injuries off and got comparable results each time.

Cleat Colors Glitch.......

I tried to edit the cleat colors on a few Dodger players, and hey cannot be edited. It seems that for any team that wears blue, red, or white cleats, you cannot customize the cleats of any MLB player. Only players on teams that wear black cleats can have their footwear colors edited.

I brought this up at this link, but wanted to get visibility for this here as well.

How did it happen or what did you do to trigger it? Can you recreate it? It happens quite often, usually sequentially, ie, the next three batters will all get that message popping up in regards to the previous player, despite the actual outcome of that play.

How often can the bug be reproduced? Has happened in every game I've played so far.

Basically you can't trade/ add a free agent to a team in the roster control with out getting rif of a roster player

How often can the bug be reproduced?
Every time you have a trade that involves has 2/3 players traded for 1/2 players.
