What game mode did the bug happen in? (Front End, RTTS, Franchise, Gameplay, Online, etc....)

Season, but I suspect it would happen in any mode.


How did it happen or what did you do to trigger it? Can you recreate it?

If a ball is hit into the "nook" in left center at PNC park and the defense is set to auto AI the center fielder can't get to it and it will result in an inside the park home run. The LF will just watch the CF try to get to it. Has happened both times I have seen a ball end up there.


How often can the bug be reproduced?

2 out of 2 times so far.

When a guy walks on ball four and the pitch is in the dirt the catcher is given an error on the play. Not sure if it happens every time yet or not, but the CPU was charged with an error three times in the last game I played.

I have had it happen to me once so far, but the CPU catcher numberous times.

How did it happen or what did you do to trigger it? Can you recreate it? Runner on first, grounder hits off him on the way to 2nd, and the ball reacts correctly, but the runner should be out.

How often can the bug be reproduced?
Happens quite often, 1 out of 3 games or so.

The in game picture is all messed up for one of my players I brought up from the minors with the CPU rendered face. It shows the jersey and then it is hollow around the neckline -- there is no person or face wearing the jersey!

It appears this way on the jumbotron and the in game graphics when he comes to the plate.

I am playing my Franchise with the Nationals.

How often can the bug be reproduced?

Once so far. I will edit if it continues.

The bug is when I choose to pitchout, at random times the pitcher hits the batter instead of pitching out. it seems the game's logic works backward at that point that instead of pitching outside, pressing the pitchout selection button combination tells the game to pitch it inside & so it hits the batter.

Edit, I also had that weird bug last night in an online game that I have seen posted here where the ball is hit to the outfield & I am going back with my outfielder to get to the ball & the next thing I know, the ball is magically in my shortstop's glove.

After some homeruns, the announcer (Dave Campbell) some times will announce the distance on the homerun. When he does this, every time it is the incorrect distance. Perhaps minor but it is a bug or glitch and needs to be reported.

How often can the bug be reproduced?After homeruns that are announced the distance, i.e. the distance of the homerun is 438 ft but the announcer (Dave Campbell) says it is 411 ft.

Energy levels reset after the rest of your 40-man roster gets called up. In my case it was the day after (neither of my minor league teams made the playoffs)

This bug was in 09 as well.

How often?
I presume every time.

I've recorded several replays with no problem, but I have seen two freezes now. I'd say it happens 1 out of 10 times.

When you play any game at Tropicana Field, the game will freeze if you press Select after accessing the bullpen via the Quick Menu and back out without putting a reliever into the game. It doesn't matter if you start warming up a pitcher or if you just view the bullpen and back out. When you press Select afterwards, the game will freeze. Interestingly enough, the freeze can be prevented by pausing and unpausing the game prior to pressing Select. If you do so, everything will be just fine.

How often can the bug be reproduced?

The freeze can reproduced by following the above steps every time. Also note that if you access the bullpen via the pause menu, the freeze will not occur. This is likely because after viewing the bullpen, you go back to the pause menu, which has the same effect as pausing the game after accessing the bullpen from the quick menu; it prevents the freeze.

To my dismay, the same type of freezing has occurred to other members without following the above procedure, so what I outlined above is just one of multiple ways to experience a game freeze at Tropicana Field. I'm going to speculate that these other freezes might have something to do with the CPU using their bullpen/relievers based on posts I've seen from other members. I was in the 10th game tied at 3. So I go to the bullpen and then the game freezes. That pissed me off, an hour and a half waste.

It does not freeze when playing RttS at the Trop. Even if you press select to skip batting practice, it goes on to the starting lineup like always.

Just a little bug that has probably been reported, but I haven't seen it posted:

The stat boxes that pop up for the players when they come to bat have incorrect information. For example a player will be batting .250 and it will say 6th in NL under it for that stat. Then my next batter will come up, who is batting .275 and it will also say 6th in NL.

How often can the bug be reproduced?
