How did it happen or what did you do to trigger it? Can you recreate it?

Pre-game lineup screen. Moved some batters around, put in some guys to give a few guys the day off, and the game is now frozen/locked on this screen. The current track played out til it ended, and now we just sit in silence.

How often can the bug be reproduced?

No idea.

What happened?
After getting on base, a stat appeared for the player for stolen bases, caught stealing and SB %. However, said stats were all 0s (I checked the player's stats for the season and he did have some SB #s).

How often?
I've seen it twice so far, didn't think of it much the first time. Probably every time the SB stats are shown for a runner (provided he's notorious for stealing).

Playing in Camden Yards, a ball that hit off the scoreboard just out of the leaping outfielder's reach (meaning the ball hit well short of the top of the scoreboard). It was called a HR. I've seen hits off the scoreboard without this happening many times, maybe the fact that I had the outfielder leap as if trying to bring back a HR caused the incorrect call.

How often can the bug be reproduced?
First time I have seen it, my friend who plays as the Orioles in Season mode has mentioned that he has seen it twice.

I played a Season game. The game saved, I shut off the PS3. I started the PS3 today and it appears to want me to play the game again. My record doesn't reflect the loss, but my pitcher shows he did pitch. It's especially noticeable because I'm only 4 games into my season.

In other words, I've played 4 games, I have 4 games worth of stats, pitcher stamina reflects the additional game, but it wants me to play the 4th game again...with my 5th starter pitching.

How often can the bug be reproduced?
I'm afraid, I'm not going to "test" for this. I'm a huge believer that The Show is one of the best sports game series (if not THE best) I've ever played and I'm very loyal to the efforts of development and their interest in our feedback, but I'm not a tester. I'll leave it to the experts unless they have a specific question (I can provide the save file). If I see it again I will update the post.

It's a pretty irritating error (keeping perspective that this is a video game). Now my pitching rotation is thrown off as they've all effectively lost a recovery day due to the glitch. It's weird to see something like this broken as I've not seen it before.

Also, I've noticed that sometimes (like all of the last game for example), the catcher doesn't seem to ditch his mask. There may be scenarios where he shouldn't, but this was all game in every scenario when it worked fine in other games.

When choosing to pitch out, the pitcher will throw the ball to the wrong side of the plate and hit the batter, sending him to first base.<o></o>

Happens randomly, but fairly often, probably every 3 to 4 games.<o></o>

</o> Defensive player freezes and does not make an attempt to tag the runner out until well after the runner has reached base or cross the plate. I’m not talking about close calls. Once I had barely rounded third when Posada got the ball on a throw from the outfield, he stayed in a crouched position with the ball in his catchers mitt, but made no attempt to tag me out until about a second after I had crossed the plate. This freezing and not applying the tag has happened at several other bases as well. Also, once I was sliding into third, the throw from the outfield was off line and A-Rod caught it about 7 feet off the bag towards second base and was no where even near the runner, but they still called him out. Let me stress that these are not remotely anywhere near being close calls. <o>

same thing happened to me. I'm in a franchise mode with the Cubs, Mariners, and Twins. I played a game with the Twins in early June, auto saved, then simulated a couple days. All of a sudden one of my potential A young pitchers was traded for Jose Valverde with my Cubs team. Without saving, I exited and then loaded the franchise again. I simulated the same couple days and my Mariners team traded three young potential A pitchers for I think Ryan Church, Austin Kearns, and some other so-so major leaguer. I imagine it might keep happening, but I was too frustrated to try again. If anyone knows how to fix this, please email me at [email protected].

CPU initiated a trade for my team and accepted although I have everything set to manual.

I was near trade deadline Texiera returned from injury I pressed auto and it stated I had more players. I checked league transactions and my team completed a trade for craig cousel and prince fielder.

Incorrect scoring.

Opposition had a runner on 2nd. Matt Kemp gets a hit to CF. Runner at 2nd is trying to score so i throw home. Kemp advances to 2nd on the overthrow by me and is awarded a double instead of a single.

Franchise w/Fantasy Drafted Rosters

What happened?
After finishing the regular season, I looked at who would be getting what awards. Cy Young went to a CATCHER?! Looking at league leaders, said catcher was in the Most Wins list tied for 1st with C.C. Sabathia (who was listed as getting MVP). Both had the same stats on that screen. Looking at wins again (after saving screenshot and reloading), said catcher is no longer shown there but still appears as the Cy recipient on the awards screen.

How often?
No idea. See screenshot below.



C.C.'s stats from League Leaders match what's shown here although its showing batting stats instead of pitching stats.

W - 23
ERA - 2.71 (that's probably where the 2 homers are coming from)
K - 214
BB - 71
Runs and Saves are probably matching here (both are 0 )
WHiP - 1.21 (that might explain the slugging stat, it's close enough)

IDK what happened here but it's not right.

I was Atlanta Braves and away team, playing Boston Red Sox as home team. We were playing in a minor league stadium, not sure which stadium. I made a clutch out in the game and it played the song that I had set as clutch out for Atlanta Braves, even though the Atlanta Braves was the away team.

How often can the bug be reproduced?
This is first time I have heard clutch out song played as home or away team, so I would guess any time you make a clutch out....even if you're the away team.

Ball 4 in the dirt catcher error again, except this time it was to force in the winning run in the bottom of the 16th and i didn't get the rbi, just cos the ball bounced on the catcher! he took it cleanly and everything

meh...everytime you force in a run by walking on a ball 4 in the dirt i guess you'll never get the rbi
