The online intentional walk glitch can those of you who have experienced this. Can you tell me what teams and who was pitching?

I've run into the online intentional walk glitch. I was playing with the Nats using a middle reliever. Tried to intentional walk and things froze up, I was unable to do anything besides turn off my controller.

How did it happen or what did you do to trigger it?

When the CPU is going to pitch out, you as the batter cant take practice swings. This tips me the hitter off not to attempt to run because if I cant take practice cut in between pitches it tells me that it will be a pitch out.

What happened?
I went into my buddy list and checked out a friend's game history. Looked at the game log/box score for the game he and I played. Both came up fine. However, several other games wouldn't come up (just went back to the game history screen). The incomplete games will say "no info available" if you try viewing them.

How often?
Just on some games, not all. My friend said he couldn't view the same game he and I played although I was able to. Doesn't matter who was home/away, seems to be random.

What happened?
Playing at the Polo Grounds. Fly ball hit to right field, clearly hits high up on the right field foul pole and comes back into play. Hitter stays on first with a single instead of a home run.

How often?
Happened once so far, but it's the only ball I've hit off a foul pole so far in the game, so I'm not sure if it is a problem in just the Polo Grounds, a fluke thing, or something that could happen more than once.

Not sure what this was about but I was playing a Spring Training game (Yankees vs Tampa) and Burnett was pitching. A better, who I can't remember) drives the ball foul in in left field and it bounced off the wall and back into the field. Before Granderson could field the ball in his glove the whole game froze and nothing would work. I had to shut it off the hard way.

How often can the bug be reproduced? All the time

The run's,hit's,error's section of the score board on the green monster at fenway does not work until you get to the ten's of run's, hit's,error's. And then only the tenth digit is displayed. This bug has been present since mlb 08 the show.

HOw did it happen? I have played two games online and each time after exiting the end of the game menu it freezes up. My ps3 becomes unresponsive and i have to press the botton on the actual pe3 to turn it off.
Can it be reproduced? It has happend each time after finishing up game.

Not sure this would be called a bug/glitch. But its something that has been left out from last year's game:

When viewing your buddylist in sportsconnect - you can no longer hit the sportscast live feature as its not present. You have to actually find your buddy in one of the many lobby rooms and is to find them since a lot of times the room could be full that he's in.

Also would be nice to have back the lobby room labeled Guess Pitch OFF.

Online. Exiting from a complete game via the Quit Game menu option.
How did it happen or what did you do to trigger it? Can you recreate it?
I use the exit game option, prompts me to quit post game menu, exit screen comes on. Loading bar fills up and the screen changes to the MLB 10 background and the music starts and the game freezes but the music keeps playing. Screen frozen, controller useless and I have to do a hard turn off. I always play w/ the Reds, 2 games have been at home.

How often can the bug be reproduced?
I have played 3 games online and it has happened each time. Sill keeps track of my stats.

Playing with the Giants against the Dodgers. Runner on 2nd and 2 outs. Full count pitch to Mark Derosa, and he checked swing (they asked the umpire for an appeal) and he didn't swing. So it should have been ball 4, however, Derosa stayed in the batters box and the at-bat continued. I eventually switched the controller select to the Dodgers and intentionally threw balls so he could earn his walk to 1st, but he remained in the batters' box.

At the top of the screen where they have the count, it showed 6-2 (as in 6 balls and 2 strikes) until I eventually grounded out to end the inning.

How often can the bug be reproduced?

It only happened to me that one time.

I play any exhibition game and the game is jerky/stutters. When the pitcher throws the ball to home plate the ball stutters. When the ump or catcher tosses the ball back to the pitcher the ball stutters. When hitting a foul ball and the ball is dropping into the crowd the ball stutters, very bad. When replays are playing you see the background stutter sometimes while the camera is a close up of a player. The player moves ok most of the time, but sometimes also stutters. A foul ball grounder near first or third and then the ball goes to the wall, like when fans reach for the ball, the game stutters a bit sometimes.

I have played night game in new yankee stadium and night game in new twins target field. Both exhibition and the games did the above stuff.

After you hit the ball and then once the fielders get to the ball and throw the ball, the game is slightly more smooth then the above mentioned.

When doing the game introduction and the announcers are talking the camera pans around the stadium. This will stutter sometimes. Some stadiums are smoother then others. Both new yankee stadium and Target field of the Twins stuttered slightly during this scene.

Players sometimes will be part way below ground level under the ground when walking on the mound. In HR Derby the players would sometimes be sitting and part of their body is under ground. When pitchers walk on the mound their feet will often be under ground a little. This is in any game mode etc.

How often can the bug be reproduced?

Every game in any stadiium I've played so far.

Are you playing the game in 1080P? If so, lower your PS3 settings to accept a 720P signal. That should fix your issue. If you are playing in 720P already I don't know what to say.

I have heard though that some Samsung T.V.'s have an issue. If you don't have a Samsung, I am at a loss to know what to say.

This does not follow the format of normal bugs.

Since the patch came out when I try to quit the game after I finish by pressing the PS button & then choosing the "quit game" icon located above the DVD icon of the game on the XMB, I get the whistle sound like when you first turn on the PS3 by pressing the PS button & it actually turns off my PS3 controller too.

This issue only started post patch.

This is happening to me as well. It seems like it's restarting the system.

I think Russell wants to know what reliever you were using & who you were pitching to at the time it happened.
