No Way! I can't wait to get home today and see the new limestone behind the plate at Target Field. I can't believe they added this to the game!

That is unheard of how fast the devs are fixing "mistakes". I don't know of any game that listens to their fans as well as the developers of the show series. Especially all the little things that most people can live without.

I actually feel like I underpaid for this game at $60.00 with the work that has been put into it.

I think 60 bucks is outrageous for video games in general but that is the market price and SCEA gets you the most out of the 60.

Wow in 24hrs of the game been release and the devs already are fixing the game for us?? this is increible how fast this developers work for us to give us the best out of this game. thanks SCEA

downloading right now. guessing no potential ratings fix though huh?

Potential ratings are being fixed via the next roster update (which should be Monday).

Kolbe has acknolwedged the franchise stuff and says they are working on a fix. He says it is likely they will come in a patch, but at this point (obviously) couldnt estimate a time frame.

Yeah that is pretty wild how they fixed that, I would have loved to see "manual scoreboard at the prolific Fenway Park" or "neon generic Citgo sign" or "tarp added to RF line"

But I am glad they got the bullpens right, and did the Coca-Cola corner (removed LF Roof Boxes) and added the generic RF roof "Cumberland Farms sign".

That is really cool they patched that in for you guys.

Considering this is the first patch, and I think they are allowed only two free ones, and usually only do two because of that, the Franchise fixes as well as a few other things will go in the other one.

I noticed they knew about a few of the bugs people discovered before the game hit, thus this patch is here addressing them. They just didn't have time to fix them up before "gold status".

Guys... understand that this patch was probably created weeks ago to combat issues they knew were already in the game. I don't think there are exceptions as far as the patch having to go through certification.

No offense but thats not something to praise. I mean if you release a game, you shouldn't release it with expectations that there will be bugs. The Game should be tested heavily for bugs before its released. I would've rather preferred the game to come out April 6th with the bugs fixed and the rosters fixed than buy it, only to realize that i can't start a franchise until a week or two later because the game has bugs.

I mean with the whole potential issue in the game on the player ratings, yes they said they're going to release a fix with the next roster update that might come out Monday but it also means you can't start a franchise until the update has been released because if you start one now, the player's potential won't be changed on an existing franchise. I love the game dont get me wrong but its annoying that it starting to seem like fans are handed an unfinished product and you have to restart your franchise modes multiple times in order for the fixes to be put in.

*Fixed bug where trades wont be accepted in Spring Training
*Fixed HDD game data space and messages
*RTTS Presentation settings are saved after rebooting
*Fixed RTTS issue when on game stats screen after skipping training and then playing a game
*Fixed issue in Franchise Mode and controlling 30 teams and then teams release alot of players
*Fixed issure with Movie Maker when selecting 10 replays and 11 are present
*Fixed Ball Delfection sound off of players
*Fixed issue with pitcher batter status window
*Fixed Issue with injuries during online games
*Fixed fielding issue wit catcher overthrowing to first base on a dropped third strike
*Fixed fielding issue with the ball in the dirt right at the feet if user catcher
*Fixed an issue when playing a tiebreaker game
*Online addition of game history option in user list options. Can be found in leaderboards, League Lobby, Buddy List, and Schedule Screens

This patch is all fine and dandy....but what about those of us still living in the stone ages and have no internet connection at home? I have a laptop with a broadband card....

Obviously this was a release day patch that has been in the works for awhile. LOL @ people who think this was thrown together in 1 day and released.
