I created top 100 plus prospects and did some editing of existing players. Grab it on SC and try it. I uploaded a new version yesterday or so....It's labeled updatedtrade.
Oh My God! It works lol. Good job on the rosters and yes te 2013 free agency bug is non existing with this roster set.

Yes, you just have to goto each team and remove the training check marks

Turning off training totally puts away the free agency problem? teams wont run out of money absurdly quick? How does the superstar players progression and regression look with this? You say the numbers statistically look good also? hmmm

Re: **The TRUTH Behind "Free Agents 2013"**

Yes to all, as far as superstar numbers go I wrote a couple of notes down on some players to watch some fell right off the map I'm not going to say who but others like Pujols just kept on keeping on (2013 .342 48 HR. 121 RBI) Miguel Cabrerra was putting up similar numbers as well. plus a couple of up and comers joined that crowd once again no names.

Team money 2014, lowest was I think Oakland with around 10 mil to spend but team was loaded, and the team with the most to spend was the Phillies with like 77 mil, most teams had between 20 and 40 mil.

After the first year or two players progression really jumped though from +5 to some players getting +30 overalls but even still down the road in 2018 there was no free agent problem...

Once again I must say I ran the actual test a few weeks ago with minimal notes and memory but feel free to ask me any questions....

Do you have to do 30 team control though? I just skimmed through ur post so I'm sorry if I missed it, in a bit of a run...

Honestly I don't know the answer to that, as the cpu would probally train its players even with the global setting at manual. Does anyone else know how the cpu treats global manual settings W/O 30 team control?

What if in the settings, you set training to manual? Think that would work? I would test it myself, but don't have much time with work and all. Plus figured The Show vets would know off the top without testing.

The thing W/O 30 team control you really can't tell what the other teams are doing. I'm like you not much time to test this out.

I must say if you havn't started your franchise yet go with 30 team control trust me its the best way to go...

thinking back a couple of months I seem to remember in a thread somewhere, I believe it was knight who came up with this but I maybe wrong. Anyway somebody said something about when you get to free agent period can't remember if its nov or dec but to manualy resign low a and aa prospects for each team whose contracts are up, the ones that are high potential that the cpu signs for high doller amounts that ties up the money Anyway sign them for lower amounts than the cpu would sign them for. I wish I could remember where I saw this

                        That was my post http://www.operationsports.com/forum...post2041087020

I stopped doing it, became too much wok, so I just made my own rosters which have solved the problem. If you put the time into 30 team control you can make any roster work.

I am 20 games into 2011 and I play every single game, so for me start over would be ridiculous. I won't get to 2013 before The Show 2011 comes out, so it won't be a big deal. I think a simple solution would be to sign the FA yourself and then trade them to a team in need of that position, you have to make sure you don't cheat, just trade for scrubs.

The problem is that the teams can't afford them... Just do not train the players and the problem disappears. completly i.e. its gone.. no 2013 glitch the training is the glitch... training is the same as shooting all the players up with steroids literally... and I'm not joking when I say that.. I reapeat do not train any player on the game.. Thats if you are using 30-team control...
