      Re: Commentator Discussion Thread

Has there been any word from the developers that we may see a change in the broadcast?

Also, is there a way to turn off the broadcast for this year's version? The repetitiveness of Matt's comments has run its course.

If they do decide to keep Matt and the gang, perhaps they could add a localized (no names) broadcast crew for weekend games. Anything to mix things up and keep the game feeling fresh. Or perhaps Matt can just do the game of the week.

        Here you go

-Want to change up the audio?...
It pays to play The Show with your young nephews.
They know all the codes for these games...and try everything imaginable to find new ones.

        Well....here is your dream code.

I won't tell you what it does....just be pleasantly surprised.

To make it obvious...try the last one first(RIGHT).

        Start any game...

From the pause menu in game:
Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left...
then these do separate things...try one at a time(you must do the above step in between each one(I think...I didn't try them together))
        ... Left
        ... Up
        ... Right

No thanks go to me for this.....it was all someone else who did the work.

For those that want to know

        up-up-down-down-left-right-left
        then...
        Spoiler
        left(mutes Rex)
        up(mutes Dave)
        right(mutes Matt)

Well, if you want to turn the entire thing off just go to AUDIO in your franchise and run the announcer slider all the way to the left.

I would have Len Casper (Cubs) do play-by-play and Rod Allen (Tigers) do color commentary, with Boomer doing pregame/postgame analysis.

1: Keep current booth as a default.

2: Gather as many of the local broadcast crews and individuals as possible.

3: Sell each two or three man crew as DLC! (which will allow SCEA to include much more commentary since they will not be using disc space, they would even be able add more team specific cut-scenes and what not!!)

4: Once content is downloaded just go to the sounds of the show menu and add commentary to which ever team you like just like every other sound.

5: SCEA, and commentators would make money and we all would be happy!!!

I honestly don't think this idea is to far fetched,
              what about you all?

I think that the DLC commentator is a great idea. Never thought of that one.
