Not to get OT but why doesn't he just nail them every game then? He always gets left on base...What would Doc do?Comment

Re: Does anyone do 29-game season mode?
We have talked about this a few times, and what I finally came up with for my personal liking, is playing the first five games of the season, so you get to pitch with each one of your starters.
Then, after you complete the 5 games, you pitch your #1 again, and then SIM the 5 games until you get to the #2's next turn in the rotation. Then SIM five games until you get to #3's next start and so on...
Stats are accurate as they would be, you get to throw your entire pitching staff in order of their next scheduled start, and you have to adjust for injuries, bullpens, etc...
This works great, and then when you get to the playoffs, you are familiar with your entire staff on the hill, as opposed to just throwing your number one guy all the time.
Give it a shot, it works great.

@ 3bros1capcard
Yes he does
and
Yes he's said that
but to finish out with 40 homers tells ya one thing...his R and L power attributes have to be brought down, if one wants any chance of realism at season's end.
Before I started my franchise, I set his power at 20 from both sides...at season's end he finished with 4....he hit 11 in 2009. Too low?? Slightly, but a lot better than 40 lol
For 2017...
