Ichiro actually has A LOT of power dude, he even said he did he just prefers to play small ball because it takes more skill, and he said "chicks dig infield singles" i've even been to many batting practices and when he wants he rips em

Not to get OT but why doesn't he just nail them every game then? He always gets left on base...
      What would Doc do?

idk but he said hitting and getting on base takes more skill than hitting a homerun, so idk but good point

We have talked about this a few times, and what I finally came up with for my personal liking, is playing the first five games of the season, so you get to pitch with each one of your starters.

Then, after you complete the 5 games, you pitch your #1 again, and then SIM the 5 games until you get to the #2's next turn in the rotation. Then SIM five games until you get to #3's next start and so on...

Stats are accurate as they would be, you get to throw your entire pitching staff in order of their next scheduled start, and you have to adjust for injuries, bullpens, etc...

This works great, and then when you get to the playoffs, you are familiar with your entire staff on the hill, as opposed to just throwing your number one guy all the time.

Give it a shot, it works great.

            Yes he does

            and

            Yes he's said that

but to finish out with 40 homers tells ya one thing...his R and L power attributes have to be brought down, if one wants any chance of realism at season's end.

Before I started my franchise, I set his power at 20 from both sides...at season's end he finished with 4....he hit 11 in 2009. Too low?? Slightly, but a lot better than 40 lol
