Harder than you think or it would have been in the game. I've said this about 1,000 times every year if it was easy don't you think it would be in the game?

Probably means the jump from '09 to '10 seemingly was not as big as people were expecting. (more like a bridge year, like my Sawx, sorry had to)

Where as this will be the games biggest jump IMO, since '07 to '08 or '08 to '09.

At least I hope that is what they meant.

Thanks for the update DMB! One question I don't think has been asked...did they do away with that ridiculous "wave off" the pitchers do on occasion when they strike someone out? I would roll my eyes every time I saw that.

And to a lesser extent, the fist-pumping by the pitcher? I mean, it would be sweet if they programmed it so the pitchers do that in key situations, but I don't need my starter pumping his fist when he Ks the first batter of the game.

dmbfan has the grabbing of the helmet around 2nd base for HR trouts been toned down or removed?

I don't think the jump from 07-08 will ever be matched and I don't have a problem with that. Especially seeing where the product is at today.

Good question and to take it one step further, how was the upgrade to RTP in general?

Okay so if your fielders circle is red and you know the throw is going to be an error....Why throw it???

Well there are a couple of things you can do or need to consider.

                  1. You can just cancel the throw and throw it again. However if you fielded the ball in the infield most likely you won't have time to get the runner out.

                  2. You might not have time to que up another throw.

                  3. If the fielder you are using has high enough fielding ratings he might be good enough to pull your red throw back into the yellow area.

                  4. If the ball is hit in the outfield and you re-preload depending upon your timing you will miss your branch point. Which causes him to trigger a throw ready animation. When this happens you loose all spectacular animations and smooth transitions.

Will we be able to cut off throws this year?

If i remember there was fog in the rain video I'm uploading to OS now. The rain is hard to see in the video because of the grayness of the sky and the fog. I should of gotten closer to the television. Upload will take about an hour from now to OS youtube.

So the one I'm uploading is from Kauffman stadium and it looks dreary gray. We should of progressed inning by inning to see how it affected the look had I thought about it.
Looking forward to seeing the rain AND Kauffman Stadium in the same video!

Not a throw in mid air.
