    Yes.
I'll probably do it with the top 50....then 100....then do the top 10 for each team....then the full teams as I do them.
But the Roster Vault also remains...so those that want to wait and download in one shot will also have that.

mind you thats just my rough and random estimate..... If its done earlier than that i'll be surprised..though im sure its not at the top of their to do list but its probably high up there....
The issue might become a higher priority when SCEA gets swamped with bug reports stating that it's raining in a stadium that has a roof.

While fans do occasionally get rained on during real life games at Rogers Centre (I got wet during a game there in the late-'90s), it only happens once every couple of years. The operators are normally quite proactive at closing the roof when there is a chance of rain, in part because the field doesn't have a drainage system. I'm not sure how common rain is during games at Safeco Field or Miller Park, but I'm definitely going to find it odd seeing rain while I'm playing a game at Rogers Centre.

aukevin, I think this question was buried.

This is exactly what I was thinking. Or since they are on the green-yellow-red light train for this year, maybe they could give us an visual clue as we approaching a bag. Green=GO!!! Yellow=User choice, no negative if you don't make it. Red=STOP!!!

In regards to the control schemes, are you saying that when the camera starts to change to a different angle that the stick position needs to remain static?

Great write up by the way. RTTS has come a long way and the new training system along with re-tweaking goals sounds amazing. Very much looking to fire this up on release day! Thanks for taking the time.

another reason to love playing all 30 some odd games.

for anyone with knowledge....had batting practice been added before a franchise game?
yes, i know the list Knight made of whats in franny, mostly fixes n' tweaks, but maybe they added the option for take BP before a game with a slumping hitter?

              No....last year...the "full" day game(according to start time)....was say "chopped" into 6 progressions(just a number...that's not it)....this year...they have it segmented into 12.....so it won't be a stunted progression.

Yup. Looks like I will likely be playing all the ST games this year. I usually just play a few to back in the swing of things and then jump right into my season. With all the new analog controls this year and wanting to test them all out to see if and which ones I will use, I will likely take full advantage of all 25-30 Spring games.

Thanks. It seemed to me if I kept the L-stick pressed in the same direction as I rounded 2nd then it would keep me going to third. For me the problem isn't rounding the bases it was starting (or restarting if I stop in the basepaths). You runner is already off the base a little and as soon as the ball is hit I would start pressing to run to another base, but then the camera angle would change to show where the ball was going and that would mess me up because I would let off the stick and try to adjust, if I would just keep the stick pressed in the same direction it seemed to work better. There is a compass in the lower right of the screen that has a green arrow and a red arrow. If you press the stick in the direction the green arrow is pointing you should advance, point to the red direction and you should go back. Like a compass though, the arrow points are moving as you are on the bases, so if you let off the stick, you'll need to make sure you press the direction the green arrow is pointing if you want to advance.

Question for SCEA or Community Day guys: For the batter walk ups, is there a particular reason why the stat shown is stolen bases rather than on base percentage? IMO, on base percentage is a way more important stat than the number of stolen bases. Also, I believe every real MLB broadcast shows the OBP during walkups. The jumbotrons in the game also prominently display the slugging percentage rather than the OBP. This has been driving me crazy for the last few years so hope someone can explain reasoning.

I agree. I'd love the inclusion of OBP.

So did we get an answer to the starting lineup opening sequence question asked a while back? In previous years Matty V would go down the entire line up (Loved that) but it was cut out last year and just highlighted one particular player. Any chance it comes back for '11?
