rip....he's going to be like every other player. 3 year average weighted with his last season as the "heaviest" in the mix. That's the way they've always done it..and will always do it. It really is the best way. Just about any guy doing rosters will take a 3 year average.(unless of course he's recreating a SPECIFIC season.)

I agree. This is smart. Just for fun, any idea of the weight distribution they're using ? something like 50% (last year),30%,20% ?

- Knight or anyone else at CD... Not sure if you even looked but I was wondering if the shorter seasons have been spread out anymore? For example, when I would play a 32 game season, it would last just over a month with nearly every game crammed into one month. If it's no different thats cool because I do like to play the 81 game season. I like to play through a season but It takes me too long to play 162 games and Im not big into managing a franchise, I just like to play. I'm Knight's polar opposite when it comes to this game...

I just read Kevin's write up on the RTTS, but unfortunately the fielding training wasnt really hashed out. Kevin would it be possible for you to go a little more indepth on the fielding training? Such as are the situations improved over last year? Thanks.

Please tell me Neil Walker, Pedro Alvarez, and Jose Tabata got there own batting stances. (I'd be kinda mad to see some rising stars on my favorite team have "Generic 1")

The fielding training session was pretty much the same as last year. The ball is hit to you and you are suppose to make the right decision on what to do with the ball. You'll have guys on base sometimes and sometimes the bases will be empty and then you'll be graded on how well you handle each situation. I didn't spend much time with the fielding training because there was a bug in it that they were fixing. I just went through it one time with a CF RTTS player and I basically just threw to the cut-off man each time, had it come up when I was playing as a C or infielder it would have been a little more fun, but also the bug was messing up what you needed to do in each situation.

I didn't look, but I don't think they changed it.
As a matter of fact, the online league schedule is like that....blocked together(they may change that...I asked)...

One little cool thing I forgot to mention is when you now let the game go into demo mode.....if you like the situation in the game..you can hit select and join in to that game in progress.

Okay...going off that...position on screen....YES
Then on the left where it says MLB....(it may say that if it's MLB news)...it will instead have the NL or AL logo.......the score like you see......no diamond with the on base, but rather a player highlight(D. Wright 2-3 HR 2 RBI...like that)..
then the MLB Show logo on the right.

Looks good.

I hope they fixed these things:

Manage mode

import franchise from 2010 version

Fix glitches like PNC park notch home runs

The game already looked great, I hope the spent time making it work better.

there is no import a franchise feature this year. As for the others, Knight gave a summary of things new to manage only mode(didn't read as I don't play that particular mode) and I'm not sure about the PNC glitch.

Is this new ticker in for sure or is it still being worked on and not a for sure yet? Sorry, the way questions/answers/impressions are flying around, I cannot recall for sure the status of the new ticker.
