Does this mean, for instance, that I can download the weekly SCEA Roster Update....then select a player from Knights Minors, download that player, and upload that one player into the SCEA roster update?

Something like that. Don't know all the details as to how EXACTLY it will work... but there will be a player vault (think trading cards) that you can use with any roster.

So there will be workarounds abound as players can download the newest update, upload that hot new rookie to the player vault directly from SCEA and then include the person (via individual download) into any roster you'd like.

I'm not sure if this will work with an existing franchise.

First of all, thank you for even looking at this post. OS and SCEA, a winning combination.

I was following up on the socks question. It might seem minor, but hopefully one will be able to change the socks along with the other parts of the jersey this year.

I also wanted to ask about the new additions to The Ballpark in Arlington. Do they have the new scoreboard in left?

Ok I'm playing a game at Angels stadium as we speak. Could you guys check if they finally updated the rocks/waterfall in the outfield? In 10 they still look like it never got any love since the ps2 days.

Correct. There is a player vault for Generated Players only. So you can take a fake AAA player, edit him how Knight does it, upload it to a vault, then someone can download that player and replace any player in the roster. (pitcher for pitcher or position for position player)

Knight will touch up more on this later with more detail.

I will say it is going to be fantastic for roster creation.

They also added PSN names for the person who uploads the files (sliders, rosters, player vault).

Quick question: Did anybody get to actually test out the sounds by using clips? Or were you only able to view the options? I ask because last year Sounds of the Show was a little glitchy for the first couple of months.

i know the PCI takes is smaller for power swings.....but....

is the size of the PCI also ratings dependent?

Yes. Hasn't this always been the case?

The only change is now you will not make contact unless the "yellow circle" is on the "red dot" in the batter analysis. And it's an option for "true" zone hitting.

2. Retractable roofs in or out? And if so with the dynamic rain will a roof open or close during a game?

That's something I asked for last year and they did it. This is a little detail but that will avoid tons of confusion. Remember those no life guys who were uploading fake rosters last year ? they're gone now ....

1. Has the Hilton hotel been added beyond left field at Camden Yards?

2. How do the dives look? In '10 when you dove for a ball, rather than sliding, the player would come to an unrealistically abrupt stop. It looked like someone diving on a carpet without a shirt on.

Do stadiums with retractable roofs get varied weather this year! Last year the roofs were always open and it was always sunny, no overcast or partly cloudy days. Do the roofs in cold weather cities (aka Toronto), stay closed when it is less then 10 C (50 F). Usually in Toronto, the roof won't be open for the first time until at least May. I really hope they have made the roofs retractable this year and have made weather variances for these stadiums. Thanks.
