    - Hey fellas, do you guys see any additions to RTP this year? I ended up playing a lot on broadcast in 10 because you got the real time and the varying "cut scenes". Not a big fan of cut scenes but I liked seeing players reacting to each other and seeing my hitter grab another bat when he broke his. Love the idea and it is gorgeous for the first month or so then it gets kind of repetitive. I've been caught between the two for quite a while.

I can understand it not opening or closing during the game as this would take alot of programming hours, but it would be simple to have the option of open or closed before we start the game. Really dissapointed about this as I play half my games at the Rogers Centre. I hope the weather is at least varied and it isn't sunny all the time.
agree with you. But we should wait for official confirmation. To me this not inline with logic applied by SCEA when implementing new stuff. When it's in, it's well done. Doesn't make sense to me they've implemented rain in some cities and nothing in others just because they have a stadium with a retractable roof.

            - Has any attention been paid to the back of the Player Cards in Franchise Mode (yearly stats, current hitting streak, stats for the last 10 games etc.)?

            - Any improvements to cutoff throws?

            - Can you manually argue calls?

            - Do umps have more personality?

            Thanks in advance.

Any comments on Karros or the commentary in general so far?

Also....how's the weather in SD? Hopefully not the non-stop rain we had for nearly the whole event last year!

Does this mean, for instance, that I can download the weekly SCEA Roster Update....then select a player from Knights Minors, download that player, and upload that one player into the SCEA roster update?
Yeah, I created myself as soon as I got the game last year... built my head/face in meticulous detail... took me forever but it ended up looking about perfect. Unfortunately for stupid me, this was obviously saved as a FA in the default rosters that shipped with the game; I never bothered to take that much time to do it over in "real" rosters so it was all for nothing.

This year it sounds like I can take my created player and insert him into ANY roster... start the year with myself in the first SCEA roster, then drop myself into Knight's Minors later on, etc.

                    Have they fixed Soriano's stance?

Also, can Cubs players have white sleeves?

                    Thanks!

If the Player Vault makes it possible for several people to work on the Full Minors roster at the same time this should be a big help. Different people could work on particular teams and then in the end the results could be imported together with the person coordinating and managing the operation making sure that the players are all consistant from a relative standpoint.

Honestly I hope we never really get manual arguing with umpires..because the first time I see a call changed because of a player arguing will make it completely unrealistic...

However do the catchers have the ability to manually ask for a check swing appeal? Is there anything new with catcher RTTS like manually blocking wild pitches/pitches in the dirt?

Have they fixed the issue with the pitcher never covering home plate when youre a catcher in RTTS or getting stuck on home plate on pop ups making it impossible to field certain easy plays.

And does calling time as a batter effect game play other than calling time.

MVP 05 had this but implemened it well where the call would never be overturned, but had the potential to boost the teams moral. Also, if the manager was ejected, you lost control of your bullpen/pinch hitters and the cpu (bench coach) took over.

If SCEA could duplicate this it would be fantastic

Will true zone charts from player profiles now be available during a game (as shown below?) It seems these would be much more usefull as a scouting tool with the new analog batting where the CPU assists on the height of swings.

                            Show-hotzones.gif

This particular batter is a lefty and the red colors are very bright middle/in (vs RHP's) which basically means you need to avoid pitching in those zones at all costs. Now look at his hot zones versus LHP's; the red zones are very dark which means they're not much to be concerned about.

The charts diplayed by hitting 'select' during a game (shown below) dont tell this story because the color brightness does not vary. For example his low middle zone shows "cold" but it's really neutral according to the chart above. Same goes with his high outside, outside middle and high inside zones, he's only slightly below avg in those areas. The best spot to pitch this batter is low & inside with low & outside a close second.

The chart below is a decent overall guide but it doesn't display true strengths/weaknesses.

Great point. If they use the same exact system, that would indeed make it realistic. Good job on pointing that out.
