That was one of my suggestions. The other was to have baserunner windows in RTTS except basecoaches are in the windows. The devs understood the need, I'm sure they'll come up with something.

This is exactly what I was thinking. Or since they are on the green-yellow-red light train for this year, maybe they could give us an visual clue as we approaching a bag. Green=GO!!! Yellow=User choice, no negative if you don't make it. Red=STOP!!!

In regards to the control schemes, are you saying that when the camera starts to change to a different angle that the stick position needs to remain static?

Great write up by the way. RTTS has come a long way and the new training system along with re-tweaking goals sounds amazing. Very much looking to fire this up on release day! Thanks for taking the time.

Did any of you CD guys get to see the opening video for this year. The Show always does a great job with the video. Loved the Burhle clip from last year! Every year they switch it up. In 09 it was the focus on each position, in 08 the year of the milestones video ect.... Do any of you know what's in store for this years intro? Are there still audio clips from important radio calls incorporated into the menu music? My favorite clip from last year was "He dropped the ball, he dropped the ball, hear comes Texiera and the Yankees win! Oh my goodness he dropped the ball! What an ending, the Yankees win the game in the most improbable fashion". Sorry Knight, that one had to hurt.

Not going to spoil it, but let's just say the videos get better and better and really pump you up!

I forgot to ask this last week, but will teams have memorial patches when appropriate? Like the Indians will wear a patch to honor Bob Feller this year. Any chance that's in?

You can not. I assume it has to do with the way their faces are now, and the editor. It just would not work right with it. Where as the PS2 was more of a flatter texture.

Does chick fil a have the actual cow copyrighted? I am personally not one that cares whether it is a dog or a cow, but I figured it would be good to know the answer. If they dont have the cow copyrighted couldnt it just be a cow holding an "mlb the show" sign?

I think it has to resemble less than 30% of the actual product. Thus a cow would not cut it.

It is not as easy as it was 10+ years ago to get away with using actual adverts. Anybody and everybody are looking to make a buck nowadays.

Definitely this^^^^. They could probably get around it with the Fair Use and Parody angle by actually mocking the cow and still be able to sell the game for profit but the line is to fine and definitely not worth the liability on SCEA's part. At least they were willing to put something there.

There are some really talented people on the boards they make some darn close almost dead on players in the editor.

You can try PMing them and they could probably make you in the game.
