Does the crowd still boo EVERY time the visting team scores? This is kind of annoying. There's no way the crowd is booing in the early innings when one run is scored. Usually the crowd will not boo unless the pitcher is getting shelled, or the home team is playing terribly.

Excep in Philly, of course!

question for those who tested Franchise mode :

last year, a nice feature ( or bug ???) was that we were acting as God on every transaction coming by. After patch, no more popup and we had to go to Pending Transactions screens and cycle through all teams to do something similar.

How is it this year ???

I noticed in the Roger Centre pic. The score board shows Jose Bautista's Stats but has Vernon Wells picture with the stats.

I know this not Final Build, but can this be checked?

That was the one place where I was thinking that might be the exception. But in Milwaukee we are way too nice to say much until after the beer has completely kicked in.

A CD guy will probably confirm this, but just for your ease of mind, there are some things wrong with a few of the scoreboards. They said they are more or less place holders and are works in progress. They are just showing the format of the boards. They will be finalized and cleaned up closer to release.

I'll answer this. At first look you probably are going to say to yourself i do not see much difference. The more you play, the changed player attribute ratings start to reveal themselves as you get exposed to different players with different attribute skill sets. Not all fielders will have the same animation portfolio so to speak. So the only way you would see that sliding catch animation at ss is if it was a highly rated player. I have played quite a few games and to be honest I have not see that animation once! Momentum plays a huge role in fielding. It is not overdone but you will pay if you are careless in your path to the ball.

Nem, two things on fielding. Are you more in control of the outfielder during a dive? Seems if you tried to dive for a ball in the outfield last year the ball was sure to get past you. I was only able to catch balls that the CPU initiated.

2nd Question is about alternate positions: Does moving players to secondary positions or positions they do not play in RL affect their play in game?

This was metioned earlier and a bug from last year - but has the disappearing backstop netting from the pitcher/outfield view been fixed? Not sure on the sequence that causes the disappearance but it does happen regularly and it was noted from the CES vids that it still seems to be doing it....might be worth a mention to the SCEA guys while you're there men.

Not major but a "nice to have" fix if possible.

Agreed, thanks for finding this out...just some quick math that equals to 1533 unique song clips

(if you still choose to use classic groups of threes..which I plan on doing for myself from my current database of over 10,000 songs and growing, just added a ton of latin music...lol) and 765 unique cheers and jeers clips (these I guess may not have the feature to break them in 3's)...still plenty to play with. Like someone else did was make a spread sheet of every players song and eliminate the duplicates...

Im lucky to have a job where I get to play PS3 at work so I will be spending my time up to release making my sound pack and a spreadsheet for my custom full minor rosters...looking forward to making that task easier with the new player vault.
