Yeah...but if YOU press the dive button...do you really want the game to NOT dive for you and drive you crazy because you thought..."I could have got that!!! that's B.S.!"
Fine line if it's a user thing IMO.

To me this area of the game still needs improvement. The whole catcher runner interaction feels too far removed from the rest of the game imo.
Well, I know they can't get to everything but I am glad to hear that the 3B issue has been addressed. Thanks, Nem!

Right off the top....Brian has changed the MR logic and therefor the bullpen logic. The new fielding ratings will effect franchise in regards to personnel decisions....
They are working on the trade logic and the training in regards to how it effects team decisions with re-signing players and signing FA's...so there is some under the hood stuff being looked at.(I just want it noted that it is crunch time and Kolbe, Jeff and crew are breaking this down as we speak....and may or may not be able to effect the changes in release. I just don't want guys to think it IS changed.....and a definite to be in. This is a complex issue and Kolbe and Jeff are aware and will do what they can)...

But just from playing a bit at the event...you can see that franchise has changed in peripheral ways that make a pretty big difference.

Can someone please clarify what PREGAME exactly is for Sounds of the Show ??

I'm under the impression that it's the music that plays when they first go on the air and show the "coming up next" graphic and starting lineups while others say it the music that plays when they show the starting pitcher warming up later ??

If the pitcher fields a slow roller, is he quicker with his throw to 1B than in previous years?

Small thing, and I'm sorry to keep asking, but when on the mound, will the pitcher turn his head around to look back a runner leading off from second base? When I'm standing in the batter's box with a guy on second, I'd love to see the cpu pitcher look back my runner on second instead of just looking towards home the whole time.

Practice? I've been playing this game since well since it was terrible and Vin Scully was calling the action. Practice I don't need. I just need to quit diving over the ball. It's not a big deal, but I do see it as an animation problem. I believe that you are too close to the ball, it should trigger a different animation. Just my 2 cents, but what do I know.

Honestly, I don't have many gameplay problem with the game. I do think that some of their animations need freshening up because after you've seen the same ones for hundreds of games, they get a little stale. Again, that's problem a me problem because I've played this game too much. I really hope they updated the foul ball cut scenes though. They drive me bananas.

There is some improvement with that but I still saw some glove tapping with the ball sometimes that should not happen in that situation. He should fire it off quick!

I 100% agree with this post.... Closer dives to the ball should trigger different animations....instead of just completely missing the ball....more animations ^ check... ok guys one thing down for MLB 12 wishlist lol

He only seems to look back just before he does his pickoff to second but did not seem him randomly glance over when pitching.

I saw an opening day game one year, against Seattle I think, where the starter made three errors in the same game. One came from rushing the throw to first and the other two came from trying to transfer the ball. It happens in real life too.

is this something that can be tuned for release, or is a lot of effort needed to get this right?

It has been brought up a couple of times so I am assuming it is not too easy to fix. I doubt we would see this adjusted before release there are a lot more pressing issues.

On RTTS. when I am a 3B, Everytime a back up to prevent a hard hit ball from getting by me. The batter automatically bunts. I did this while Adam Dunn was at bat. And he bunted. Was this fixed
