A normal PS3 controller is $55. This controller isnt anymore than a regular one.

Well normal controllers are $55 locally (i.e. Best Buy), but they're $43 on Amazon. When the MLB controller first surfaced, it was also $55 on Amazon -- $12 more than a regular controller.

But once it dropped to $43... totally worth it. I pitched a 2-hitter and won 4-1, all thanks to my new, magic controller.

I am telling you, you pick it up, and it feels different. Not lighter, not heavier... Just different. Like the balance is different. I love it. Has not helped me win a game yet (my offense has sucked since the moment I ripped the plastic off the game), but it just feels right.

People can call us crazy, but it ISN'T just like any other controller. IDK, maybe the others are joking around about it, but I am being serious.

Reserved it at Gamestop but... they haven't gotten them yet. I got a text last night saying it would be in, but I just called and nope.

My local GS said none had it. And found one that does and leaving work now to pick it up

I am home with mine now, and it feels exactly the same as my current white Dualshock 3 (I have needed a second one for a while now). That being said, my buddy has a red DS3 and my current white one feels different than that one, so it could be the white ones in general.

I went to the GS the other day and still nothing so today I tried one more time and they had it. Had just arrived a few minutes before I walked in.

I had a $60 store credit so I bought it with that.

Ordered my controller Thursday night and got it just minutes ago through USPS (Saturday afternoon)! This thing is a beauty in person!

I bought one of these controllers when I got the game last night. Just got a bonus at work so I figured why not? Needed a new controller anyways since my old one doesn't hold a charge now without being plugged into the PS3 all the time.

Got one the day after release at Target.

Went 0-for-2 at two GameStops, but got the last controller at Target of all places and saved 5 bucks with my in-store debit card. It does feel a bit different than my traditional black one, lighter maybe. Not sure exactly what it is.
