Thats pretty cool! What team do you play for and what position? Who are you?(just kidding, lol) I'm sure if people knew who you were you would be harassed all the time in this site. Good luck with this season and stay healthy. Unless your Pujols then I take that back, I am a Reds fan, lol.
I was just messing by the way!Comment

Re: Ok Show fans, to what level of baseball have you played?
I have never played any organized level of baseball OR softball, as my life was spent working my way up to playing division 1, and semi-professional soccer (never made it past that though). But, I've always, for as long as I can remember, loved baseball and baseball videogames.
What's funny is football and baseball are by far my favorite sports, and as successful as I was in soccer, I don't watch it on tv ever (except the World Cup), and I don't buy the videogames.Comment

Re: Ok Show fans, to what level of baseball have you played?
Played through high school and was working out in the off season when a DII coach saw me hit in the cage and wanted to get numbers and testing on 60yd, bench, high school stas...just that type of BS. He asked me to walk on so I did. Well I ended up having a lot of fun during the summer of high school to college and did not play ball.
I got to college and fall ball started, I ended up getting cut. I then hit the weights, got stronger worked hard and made the team my sophmore year. It was like giving a giant middle finger to all the people who tell you that you can not do it.
It was fun at a DII level, but you have to still treat it like a full time job. They are always looking for someone better. If any of you are on the fence about going out for the team, do it. YOU can only blame YOURSELF if you pass on an opportunity. Even if you don't make, don't get down, get better and go back out.Comment

Re: Ok Show fans, to what level of baseball have you played?
I played college baseball as a 5'11" right handed pitcher. So, yeah, no one was drafting me anytime soon. I still play in a competitive adult hardball league. Their is nothing better than the smell of freshly cut grass, leather, and pine tar.Comment

Re: Ok Show fans, to what level of baseball have you played?
Played through High School and then Stan Musial (19+ rec league) for several years until I tore my rotator cuff pitching. I'd like to play in a 30+ league now but just can't find time with my other responsibilities. I umpire little league, middle school, and will coach my son's diaper league this year so I still get to enjoy being out on the diamond, though.Comment
