That...could be interesting if the lineups still get rearranged after ST. One of the workarounds for that was for someone to upload a franchise simmed to the start of a regular season. If the franchise saves are locked as you say, that won't be happening this year.

This doesn't really affect me as I actually LIKE seeing what the AI does with the lineups (I'm not as attached to the names as some people are), but it could definitely be an issue for those who want the lineups they set to stick. Like CB said they did patch GT5 on this issue, so hopefully that can be done here too.

I'm sure this has been asked and answered but I didn't find a search feature in this thread.
Anyway, can you play the homerun derby online this time?

              Thanks!

I have seen people have been saying how the hit variety is better, but can anyone specify? How frequently are balls going over the OF's heads?

I have seen balls over the head, dropped balls, over run balls, dive and miss balls...momentum plays a huge factor this year if you go one way then switch last second your in trouble...also seen my first balk last night in a AA game...pitcher was getting smacked and I went real quick with the analog meter and they called a balk...lol very cool

Ball physics are greatly improved this year. Line shots can go either way, fair or foul, depending on your swing - pitch location etc. You see shots down the line that look like a hit and then tail off for a foul ball.

For the oldtimers, the ball physics remind me of Front Page baseball, only better with a lots of variety.

Could someone please upload a gameplay video of the Mets playing at home (if it's possible not off-screen!). Thanks a lot!

That is more than likely a spring training game, hence the scattered attendance.

honestly its hard to explain. The best way for me to describe is that its just like what you'd expect to see in real baseball game. I'm hitting balls in the gaps more often/realistically, over the fielder's head, having them mis-play the ball.
I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

This is how I pretty much sum it up. Mis-plays seem so real especially on bright/sunny days when the OF loses the ball in the sunlight or when he overplays a shot in the outfield.

Just seems like this years game is even more life-like than last years when a lot of us felt it couldn't get any better. Well, it just did
