I know last year a couple of Indian fans complained how the helmets didn't have the red bill. I'm thinking of using them this year in a chise, so do they have the option to have the blue helmet w/ red bill?

Here's a pic of the helmet:

is it possible to play a head to head game on a single console with both people logged in to their respective accounts? My 3 cousins and I want to do an online season and 2 of them share a ps3. Thanks!

i just saw a screenshot posted with the red bills, so i can confirm they are in this year

here's the shot, but it's not mine, and the helmets probably depend on which hats you select, so you may be locked into choosing certain hats to use these helmets...

I will ask a question now...how do you influence swing when you use analog hitting?
          Blue Jays, Blackhawks, Auburn

Hold down R2 and then flick the Right Analog stick up (fly ball) or down (ground ball). You should feel a rumble to confirm your selection.

Your post about fielding on HOF and only having one error proves it!...Not really, but you are clearly better at the stick than most of us, that's for sure.

Could you keep us posted on your progress?
Well my first franchise game was one of the most realistic games I have ever had with the Show. Lost 2 - 0 to the Brewers.

My strikeout totals came crashing back to earth as Volquez only punched out 4 with one of those being the pitcher.

Greinke was dominant giving up 5 hits with 10ks (his slider was unreal). It was mostly a pitchers duel with the Brewers picking up 1 unearned in the first when Stubbs booted a one hopper and kicked the ball into right field allowing Hart to score from second. McGehee added a solo shot in the sixth that was reviewed because it barely snuck inside the foul pole in right.

Funny glitch...apparently Chapman can strike guys out before they even come to the plate. I was warming him up after bringing him in in the 9th and threw a slider down and off the plate and the catcher points to first and the ump punches out the batter.

And someone asked about this earlier, the video board on the wall in left field updated with all the accurate scores, innings and pitchers that matched the games as they were going on and being updated on the ticker...which is an awesome addition that completly immerses you in your franchise.

theaub, I would consider 2 wild pitches per game "toned down" compared to 10 no? While 2 per game is much it's still a step in the right direction.

I am seeing about the same...anywhere from 1-3 and they are all coming in the right situations, 0-2 or 1-2 when the pitcher is really trying to get the batter to fish. Also see more during rain games which is nice. Much improved over the previous years.

Just a quick question. Are rosters still being jumbled up after spring training in franchise mode like last year. I don't mind the CPU changing lineups to a certain extend, but last year you had guys like Marcus Thames batting cleanup for the Yankees while Texiera was on the bench. If the lineups are being jumbled up again are the CPU decisions at least realistic this year? Without franchise files being able to be imported or exported this year it would be a real pain for everyone to have to fix them manually.

                      2) Saves were slightly more spread out. Only 9 pitchers had 40+ saves. However, that didn't mean that player designated as the closer pitched more at all. Guys like Rivera were only throwing 45 IP, and the Jays closer Dotel only threw 31 since the Jays blew.

This pretty much only affects the sim engine I believe. As such you have to choose between realistic save numbers or teams using their best RP more. Unfortunately it doesn't seem like there's any ways to get closers to pitch in close/late situations that aren't for a save.
I hope the Devs take this little issue into consideration and address it in a future patch.

While it's nothing major, it's good if it's addressed ASAP for the Franchise heads.

How are the lighting transitions in the full game this year? I found in the demo that even though it got darker later 5th or 6th inning. The transition from dusk to nightfall was still way too quick. It would go from being dusky to pitch black within 1 or 2 batters.

Without spoiling anything good, are there any new "little things" that would warrant the return of the thread?

Has the depth of outfielder alignment issue been fixed this year? Per the "Fixing God-like outfielder ability" thread, Normal and Shallow alignments were much too deep and negatively affected gameplay.

Anyone know if this was addressed?
