Re: Official MLB 11 The Show - Q&A Thread
So I have discovered that while using the Analog Fielding on All Star, when you push the R-stick towards the intended base, you will feel the controller rumble if you hold it long enough.
As soon as you feel the rumble, let go of the stick, and as long as you were accurate in your direction of the push, the ball will be a perfect throw, and "in the green" 90-95% of the time.
I was having a hard time deciding whether or not to not push over all the way, or hold it for just a second, and was getting lollipop throws as a result.
By holding it towards the target just long enough to get the feedback rumble, your throws ought to be perfect, and with good speed on them.

That seems like good news. I can deal with that if they are average players with above average potential. If fully developed prospects are sitting in the FA pool, that might be another story. Thanks again for running these sims.Comment

Has anyone been able to get advanced stats yet? If so, what are they? I'm unable to access them yet.Comment

Re: Official MLB 11 The Show - Q&A Thread
In season 2 there is one A prospect pitcher 22 years old and a few B's. The A on his player card says he is a future number 1. He goes the whole season with out being signed. I am right now finishing season 3. In this season the Braves finished 2 million in the hole for their budget...Comment

I've been playing the game and I love it but one huuuge disappointment. Jose Iglesias, redsox most prized prospect expected to start SS next season after the departure of Scutaro. Will he be put in a roster update?Last edited by lenny819; 03-08-2011, 03:05 PM.Comment

Re: Official MLB 11 The Show - Q&A Thread
Guys...
So sorry, I NEVER do this, but I'm in a huge rush trying to set up the game for my brother (and myself), and I don't have the time right now to search through the 20 new pages...
1. Last year, in Franchise, when running a 30-Team control, I was able to place my profile under MY team, and a blank "user" profile under the remaining 29. This year, the options are different. It's either MY profile, or the Advanced, Beginner, etc. ones. How do I set this up in order to have the CPU manage themselves, but only use MY profile under MY team? It's kinda confusing.
2. Do I need to sim all of the games for the day of, in order to see them progress during my played games? I think so, but I can't tell if the ticker runs from the game start times automatically, or if I actually need to sim all of the games first.
3. How do I fully disable Auto Save? I see an option to turn Off/On the "post game auto saving," but even with this OFF, it still Auto Saves on me. Am I missing something or can Auto Save not fully be disabled?
Thanks again guys...sorry for not searching.Comment
